I remember Mechwarrior 2.... It was installed on an old 98 machine at my Highschool that I fooled around with. It was my intro to the BT universe. Im still after a copy/good download link so I can re-live the glory days of yore.

I have a copy of [redacted] Mechcommander that I also downloaded and am trying to get to work.

I love MW4. So fun :)

Oh I see why Blood rose, Egomane edited your post and said underneath:
"You should not admit those things publicly, you know?"

Here's my collection. I also had mw3 pirates moon on disc somewhere but can't find it.Posted Image

Also used to play this a lot and thought it was great fun, then later tomb raider.

Could never get MW2 too run properly on a modern PC, can play it but if try and change controls it crashes and it is pretty horrific to play with the default controls. Still waiting on a GOG edition or for it to be released with the MWO engine. That would be great. Although MWO is too fast to seem like BT for me.

I have every BT game, except MW4: Mercs (I even bought Lone Wolf, sadly). I also have a couple hundred BT minis. I may not be CamoSpecs material, but I try my best!

Did you also get Mech Assault:Phantom War? And the Sega Genesis one? Just wondering cause I was going to ask if they are worth getting (for collecting purposes).

I have a copy of phantom war, the story line to the game wasn't that bad but it wasn't good either. But for a collector its a game that I think would be worth having it just to say you did.

I would say Phantom War's story was pretty bad  - but in the MST3k so-bad-it's-good kinda way. :P

You poor brave man. :P

Didn't get to play much of the other two MA games - but they looked better written than MA:PW at least.
(First one anyways - less familiar with the second)

That can count against them though - I enjoy playing PW sometimes just to laugh at the tech-turned-uberwarrior.

Though it was pretty cool to have a handheld game where the characters ACTUALLY talked.
@RaziBerry I like what you did with the mins. You can have them on display and still play with them in a game. I like it I'll, have to try that.

Edit: btw who were the "ACM" anyways?

I do have the Genesis and SNES games. They're interesting from a retro-gamer/collector standpoint, but I didn't get Phantom War, actually I forgot about it entirely! It didn't look very good...

there's a game store downtown that got (Or Had, might be gone now) a copy of MW2 31st Century Combat for PS1, I think they want $7 For it? I would get it but it's clans, I'd rather play Mercs for IS + Deadeye Unther!

I think the thing that made me toss the controller against a wall, and the disk out the window, was a mission where I had to fight an Atlas as an elemental....

Oh yea I remember that. The mission where you're on a map like Terra Therma and Natalia sends you in and first you have to run away from the puma mechs?

I do not recall and Adder omni mechs in the game, as they were more or less replaced by the Cougar....

But yes, hot map, steal an Elemental power suit, and GI fight an Atlas....

I like your review, to bad they left the second on a cliff hanger-you see Natalia's? Shadow over the seventh core, I wish they continued it.

So do I. The story does need to be concluded and I am hoping it does happen.

I could wright a really crappy fan-fic and post it here? There would be at least 50% more explosions than the original

If you are running it on 64 bit I wish you luck. Try it on a Windows 7 or older with 32bit or run it even lower like 24 or 16bit.

I have an old computer running Window 7. I'll check on this one.
