I'm really excited about the Fall Damage/JJet re-balance (buff) for lighter mechs. Reward system sounds really awesome

so the tbr_s now feels broken. only 5 slots in either side torso, seriously? what if i don't want the JJ's!? thats 5 tons and slots of wasted space and tonnage....

The AH packs a bigger punch with the SRMs. It also has the 30% C-bill bonus attached, which is the main reason I buy any Hero mechs or mech bundles. I'd fee the same way if I had bought the Atlas Hero.

You can swap out the torso omnipods for some without JJs

But you have no tonnage for AC20 + a serious amount of SRM and enough ammo for both.

The AH is also completely ammo dependent, which in my mind is a big downside. Like I said earlier they are both different mechs and neither takes away from the other. Be happy that you now have two Hero mechs that you can play in different ways. It is really silly to want a refund on the YLW because of this reward mech.

The YLW also can take up to a 300 engine. In any case, we new these mechs were coming, so if you bought is months ago, it should have paid for itself by now, and if not, you knew it was coming.
I for one do not regret my YLW purchase.

Good stuff almost all around guys! Weirded out by the LRM thing, but that is okay, I never use LRM5s anyways.

3 Tons of AC20 and 2 tons of SRM w/ 3 SRM4 launchers is not bad for a brawler. That's 1000 potential damage. 44 pt alpha vs 30 pt on YLW.

Yep if you put SRM 2s in the mech for back up (4 = 2 tons with out Art) and then throw in 1 ton off ammo you have 3 tons in Cent AH where as I stated earlier 2 tons in back up that never runs out of ammunition.

Please make this game already total paid basis and stop this s#it about "free to play". I need to play it for days nonstop to get money for simplest mech and equipment. Now this game is about "we meant you to pay real money for EVERYTHING" - we got it! So, please, do it more friendly as it must be in "free to play" or stop cheating community.

If you don't want JJ, you slot another ST without missile hardpoints. Btw you need 5 tons, 4 tons, 1 ton or no tonnage at all, it depends on the chosen combination.

So the TBR with the best hardpoint layout + JJ is broken now? Go drive a Locust, welp.

I don't sense a C-Bill nerf - I'm earning similar amounts to before despite using my un-leveled new mechs, so probably a boon in the long run.
