IMHO it's not that big of a deal. The TBR was overpowered even amongst the other clan mechs. Even now, it is not even down to summoner levels of configurability, and yet, it is still overpowered by comparison.
They should have had a consistent plan for omnipods from the get go, one way or another. They should have done a lot of things before leaving beta. Most of us have varying levels of discontent regarding the development. Nonetheless, whining like a child is not very becoming. Your mech isn't broken, it's different.
Have we forgotten this is a game?

This is not to approve of the fixed jump-jets, just to say the use of fixed jump-jets only harms the mechs it is applied too and is a grossly unfair and unbalanced nerf. It should be abandoned on all Clan mechs. It ruins the Summoner which would be a fine mech without the jump-jets. You can't say this is the way it is on Clan tech because in an Open Mechlab game all changes are possible to standard and omni mechs. I go along with the Closed Mechlab for Clan Mechs, but only if it is promoting balance across all Clan mechs and because so few have jump-jets they should be removable.

Now i can see that buying Timber was worst deal ever. They killed Nova and now almost Timber too. What mech will be next?

I just got done reshuffling my builds that got invalidated. ALMOST NOTHING CHANGED. I had to switch my laser vomit build to the S and my 4xCSRM6 build to the Prime. Both builds now have one more jump jet than before. I think one lost a targeting computer, and the other lost a heatsink. Not a big deal.
If you want fewer jump jets, just swap out an ST omnipod. If you need both to run 4xCSRM6, then swap that loadout to the C or Prime so you only have 4 jump jets to deal with. It's not like having 4 jump jets is a bad thing, either. Poptarting with SRMs is kind of funny.

They can't have you switching out CT omnipods because that's how they track xp per variant. If you want to use the CT from a different mech, just switch your whole loadout to that mech. That's what I did with my laser vomit and SRM loadouts.

So it's best to stop wasting our time and effort to proof them otherwise, and look on the bright side. That if they are true to their word, their will be a few less Timberwolves to face on the battlefield... Cheers!

All builds used in my garage have retained or even improved "BV" (I know its not an official term, I´ll just use it here cause I find none better) through this change, creativity and non-adherence to meta-dogmatism provided

We are not crying about things changed. We are crying about loss of variability. Let me name builds what was left and we can call them reasonable:
4xml + 4 srm6 (very good build now even dangerous with more jjs because they cant hit us Just fly like a flies and turn like a hell)
2x ac5 or lbx5 + 4ml (not a good build because we must face enemy all the time so our torsos are in danger)
4xlrm10 without artemis + tag + 3ml or 3x sml if u like more ammo (not a good build too because it is a lrm build and kills with lrm builds deppends on luck)
1gaus + 2x ppc (good one, but im considerring it as too hot due to ppc nerf and it need good aim)
We cant use Ac20/10 because there can be only one be fitted = smaller dps than 2x ac5.
So thats all folks. Only 4 builds. IS Catapult (and timber shoul be better / evolved Catapult) is now better choice by my oppinion. Its slower but can carry 2*gaus + 2ml or 2*ac10 + ppc/4ml or 6x srm6.

If people really don't like the product they can always stop spending money for one and second just stop playing the game PGI is a business first.
edit: customers talking means nothing, until they start walking.
This is the gaming industry people walking away does not have the effect it would on another business, or else PGI would of stopped the business model of nerf the previous product and introduce a new one. This is the gaming industry and it has been proven that for every person who walks away another two will open their wallet. Or if by some means enough of us do close our wallets and no new players show up they will just kill the game and save their money. What does work is when people start acting like whinie little babies because it makes the developer look bad. We are also sick and tired of this cycle "poor players crying to pgi because they can not beat something, and they complain so much that pgi listens. Then we adapt and they complain again and pgi changes stuff, and it keeps repeating that way. This is an online game where you fight other people, there is no walk through there is no easy mode. If you suck instead of complaining go use the private matches to practice and get better.

They can do whatever they want. If they ever decide to paint your TBR pink and put it in a tutu all you can do is not play anymore. You are not entitled to anything. This is a game, if you want to play it you follow their rules. Making up your own changes nothing.
Don't get me wrong. You can voice your opinion, nothing wrong with that. But just because it is your opinion doesn't make it the only one out there or means PGI has to do what you want.

You forgot the laser vomit build, which is one of the best builds on the chassis. I've also done well with an LB-20X+ 3xCSRM6+CERLL build on my TBR-C, which is hardly a top-tier loadout.
And any of those builds is better than a Catapult. The Catapult isn't even in the same ballpark as the TBR. Seriously, you can put just about anything on a Timber Wolf and it'll be better than most of the heavy mechs out there.

I would be willing to bet anything that the previous terms of service agreement had the exact same language regarding PGI's right to change content without notice or liability.. That's pure boilerplate man.
