D/L'd new driver, first game froze about 1-2 minutes in - full freeze, had to crash the client & restart. My card is an old 560 Ti if that matters.

I have a 760. I did a clean instal of the new driver and I still get a screen-freeze on the new map almost every time. I have to alt+tab out and re-enter the game then it is magically fixed. It does not happen again during the same match. This has never happened on any other map. The screen simply freezes, but I can still hear the audio. I press ESC, Alt+tab, click on the game again, fixed.

Again, the new drivers did not fix the screen-freeze issue. I have also tried changing my graphical settings in-game and via the Nvidia control panel. I have also tried the MechWarrior Online specific profile. Nothing has effected the screen freeze but that ONLY occurs on the new map.

Process of elimination, IT'S RELATED TO YOUR MAP.

I used to get a screen freeze. I'd power down for a minute, could still play and hear the sound. It happened on all maps, but mostly the new one. After a minute or two, it'd come back to life. Would happen once every 20 games or so.

Since the most recent patch, it now freezes 1 in 4 games. It freezes and then crashes to desktop after 30 seconds. It happens on all maps equally.

Gj on the quality control pgi.

How about you start making patches work instead of trying to force feed us stupid halloween gimmick items?

Just want to let the Devs know I've suffered no issues with the latest Nvidia drivers with my Geforce GTX 660Ti... backed up with a i7 3770K CPU... 8gb Gkills RAM... etc etc etc... running the settings with the optimized option through the Geforce Experience program... Vsync enabled through the MWO Client to regulate FPS, steady between 45-60... GPU stays within cooling spec and I don't get too much 99% usage of the GPU now while in "loading screens" anymore, it's still high... but thankfully not 99% because even in a match I noticed my GPU never reached that high.

This game still needs further optimization.... a loading screen should not use 99% of a GPU. This coming from previously having a ATI Radeon HD 6850 GPU installed.

As of April there was no benefit of using DX11. Has this changed with all the patches since that time?

My fps has dropped dramatically. During a firefight it can now drop to single digits.

Consistently getting freezes with sound still running followed by program crash. No rhyme or reason. Happens at any point in a match and even in mech bay.

Also getting a DXG1_Error_Device_Removed message with each crash.

Did clean driver install as recommended including removing and re-installing hardware to check for bad connections. Frequency of freezes has worsened to where I can sometimes finish a match.

I just want to make a suggestion to those that seem to have problems with the new Nvidia drivers and more importantly the Nvidia profile created for the game. SLI is not, at the moment, working as it shall in the future. The dev team is working with Nvidia to get a fix but for now, setting your Mechwarrior Online profile to "Single GPU" in the "Manage 3D Settings" area of the Nvidia Control Panel has fixed several issues for me.
Any time I have changed any graphics settings either in game or via the Nvidia Control Panel, I dump the "Shaders" directory from the Game's root>user directory or run the Repair Tool. I also clear all temp files and caches and reboot my system.
I also ensure that PHYSX is running on the secondary card that is not running the game. This is the default anyway. Some folks set PHYSX to run off the CPU but performance is better from the GPU.
I run the game with DX11 and very high settings for most options. More tweaking can be done from the Nvidia Control Panel. The game performs very nicely for me. The new drivers allow PHYSX, at least, to run properly with less stress to your primary card.
These things worked for me. Oh ya. Nvidia experience optimization options really suck. It always gets it wrong for me.
If anyone wants me to do a video on this let me know and I will post one. This video shows the result of the of the new drivers and the changes I made.

Newest drivers, although automatic update, still having random CTD (but 'crash' is not recognized, it just exits - and i have to add, it exits a lot cleaner than when i really exit the game, perhaps switch that around) and seldomly freezes (mostly on mining collective). The freezes are recoverable if i switch to desktop and back.

they have somewhat lowered in frequency on this version i think, at least on mwo. after the driver update and my first crash in it, i decided to run msi afterburner at the same time so i could monitor what happened the moment of crash (exceeding heat or something like that) but for some reason it has not yet crashed since i started running the game with msi afterburner open.

Same here, except unfreezing takes 1-2 minutes (by which point I am dead or the game's already decided anyway).

Horrible performance with GTX 980 SLI. I've seen frame rate drops down into 20fps. Pretty much unacceptable with these cards.

FPS up from 30-35 to 55-65 consistently. Not getting screen freeze really anymore either but still getting some ingame hitching, I believe this is due to the server on your end as my ping is a constant 83-85 and its effecting my team as well.

Still hovering around 30-35fps have been getting bombs down to 10fps randomly during play which may or may not fix itself during the course of that game. used to get up to 45. DSR for me is awful, at 2x DSR the text in the MechLab goes really fuzzy and difficult to read.

Updated recently to the new NVidia drivers and still getting screen hitches that make the game virtually unplayable. Ping stays constant at 76ms.

GTX 750. AMD Athalon quad core. No SLI.

Still freezing in-game - yesterday about 3x in a row of group matches in the Mining Collective - something's not right with that map as well. Latest nVidia drivers: 3770, 24Gb RAM, GTX 780Ti.
