Can you please just make ECM do what it was supposed to do?

Change it to counter Artemis/NARC/TAG/BAP and let every mech mount it.

Then you can stop making stupid band-aid changes and PROPERLY balance LRMs by doing a ground up rework.

And lowering LRM damage is dumb as hell. Jesus.

Is the clan Small Laser damage a typo? Or is it going up?

It is indeed going up. 4.0 > 5.0

Why aren't ISML going to 3 heat and ISSL going to 1 heat?

IS Short-range options have been playing second fiddle to autocannons and PPCs (more recently ERLL) ever since DHS. It's time to bring them back into parity a bit.

I think the pulse laser changes are good. Let's see where it leads us.

Ye, new map! Hopefully, it don't kills my FPS, as the Factory ... New colors are good! But, if they comes with under 12 FPS... there will be useless...

Loving the buffs to all wubs. Actually makes them more useful, and gives people a choice. Less range and more tonnage for better DPS and quicker bursts then standard lasers to help spread damage by torso twisting.

Seems like a much more fair trade off then before.

Not much there really. Guess theres not alot of resources not devoted to the map or CW. Pulse laser changes are pretty minute, theyre already pretty good, just not the best choice in most situations. But they have their use. A buff is nice. My Wubshee thanks you.

But beyond the map...meh.

Was hoping for some more CW eye candy but I guess thats next tuesday or the week after.

Question for Paul/Russ.

Given BAP's new range bonus to counter ECM, what happens if you have ECM and BAP? Since BAP doesn't counter if you have ECM, and ECM doesn't counter at that range, if nothing changes there's still little reason to take both.

Are you saying you're one of the problems in the game? ;)

My question had a simple answer. Yours does not.

That said, LRM damage changes made sense. Surprised SRMs weren't also sent back to 2.0. Even if you don't think it's a perfect solution, it at least makes sense as to why they made that change, even if a bigger one is coming.
