I have a premium Catapult, a Premium Jenner, a Premium Hunchback
And a premium Atlas, all with there own particular skin (different geometry for each of them, just look at the Atlas.)

They are still usable ingame, have recently got the 30% increase of C-Bill.
And proove you are a veteran.

You also have your name on the credits of the game, and you could play it before the other's. :P

With there last move for us, I don't feel screwed nor ignored.
It is true I would like to have more advantage (maybe lower price for premium, or I have more MC for the same amount has money? :P )

But we are not let down.

PGI is so gar doing a very well job and is managing to catching up all the late work they had to do in part because of IGP.

I got everything I paid for including a 3025 Tech I Atlas. We got what we paid for, a start up for a MechWarrior game.

I am a Founder. I do not in the slightest bit feel ripped off by spending real cash to get early access to a computer game of an IP I've always loved. In fact, MWO has always been my "primary" game of choice. Sometimes I'll get a bit of burnout and take a few months break, but whenever I come back I still have fun.

Sure the road has been bumpy, but I still like where it looks like we're going. Ironically, the one thing that has always caused me the most frustration is not PGI, IGP or the decisions that have been made regarding the games balance or monetisation, but the idiotic incessant whining of people like the OP who almost believe it is their "duty" to find something wrong and complain about it.

Hard to feel ripped off when you purchase something on a Concept and not a finished product. It was sort of like buying a lottery ticket. I feel ripped of when I need to by a paint color for my team. I mean all paints colors should be purchasable for $2.50 and cameo patterns for $2.50. Think about it, the entire system is a rip off when a mech cost as much as many new games today but hey I look at it like I don't go to bars so this is my entertainment funds.

this entire F2P concept is very expensive and that is why they make them this way now, it is a cash cow.

PGI's kind of been shaping up wonderfully since IGP left, since things are muuuch more balanced, pesky memory bugs getting fixed, two maps in under two months, Conquest becoming actually fun, CW seeming to be dead set for December..yeah.

As a founder, I wanted to post to say I do not share the OP's feelings.

From a basic mathematical viewpoint, the number of hours of entertainment for each dollar I have spent on MW:O is larger than any other form of entertainment.

For my founder's purchase, I got to play MW:O earlier than others and was provided a nice package to get my game off the ground. My Phoenix package and Masakari package were both really worth it. Pre-ordering as soon as possible the first tier of both packages netted me a large chunk of premium time. This alone as allowed me to enjoy MW:O immensely for the simple fact funding my builds has never been an issue.

Take your Founders Hunchback out with a AC20 on it, right now! You won't feel ripped off. The Hunchie is as fun as it was in closed beta to play.

I also don't share the OPs feelings.
Yeah some things could be different but I at the end of the day I never lost the feeling PGI is trying to make a good Mechwarrior game. (and stay in bussiness)
I never participated in any kickstarter or founders program before and never did since but I guess pretty much everything gets hyped up to some point. *cough, SC, cough*
I feel sorry for everyone who missed out on the Founders program because it was a great headstart for a "grindy" game with a collective spirit.

Our mech Pricing should be in line with Iron Wind METALS.

My Founders pack felt (and still feels) like a pretty good deal to me.

My Clan Wav II top package seems like a good deal and I don't even have most of the mechs yet.

Going to buy the smallest pack of Resistance because I looked at what you get for $20 (discussed in another thread) and it is a RIDICULOUSLY good deal. If I had known that's how the early bird bonuses work I would have bought anything that had them.

So yeah, BUYER BEWARE there are good deals to be had, I guess.

This post is directed towards those of us who purchased the Founders Pack. We are the few who were willing to make the first investment into MWO as players. We are also the ones that where by far the most ripped off any of and in this community who have shelled out cash this game. To say that what we received was below par is an understatement. especially compared to any of the other Mech Packs presently available.
Pre -ordering any games, upgrades or DLC's of any kind is this present atmosphere of gaming industry is unwise and foolish. But the self promoted hype and carrot waving of most game devs is sometimes very hard to resist. And the result for us was we ending up with nothing but hype.
Had PGI really attempted to put their best foot forward when MWO was first made publicly available. then the Founders contain might still be viable and in use on the battlefield today.
I know it sound like i'm just crying over 2 year old spilled milk. And your right I am. But that point I am trying to communicate is "Buyers Beware". Be patient. Wait and see if we is being presented to you is real, or just hype.

I got full value from my Founders and every other pack I have bought (and I bought them all except for Clan Gold). Maybe you need realistic expectations....

I just feel ripped off about the Phoenix pack because I thought I would have a Gauss Rifle to use on all those mechs in which case I would have used a few, but you can't use the de-sync Gauss Rifle if you aim with a Joystick and PGI does not care that they gave the de-sync the same mechanic as dragging and dropping files with a Mouse and you can't do that accurately with a Joystick. I would not have bought the Phoenix pack had I known this was to happen.

Why cant you just hold down another button? Much like Durant stated? Or just get rid of the Joystick since they are not as good as a keyboard and mouse?

@OP.
Pre-ordering an AAA game is crazy in my eyes, pre-ordering the right to use a single model (or more than one) in a game that has only 3 game modes, so few features and a few maps is even crazier imho. I dont pre-order games anymore (learnt my lesson with the 1st), I would have to lose my mind before I pre-orderered something so menial.
It would be like pre-ordering a set of armour for world of warcraft.

This is the problem. Devs think they will sell more by tricking people into buying their game before they have had the chance to test it or see any of the content, and maybe they are right - they probably do sell more, but it is leading to worse and worse products. I remember a time when almost all games got demos in magazines. It's downright clandestine.

Games still get demos in magazines, but there are few magazines and more games today they ever before. This game was shown in PC Gamer actually so i dont get the connection there.

Also to say the DEV's are tricking people and clandestine is liable at best....you obviously have no idea how the business world works or how development of a product works. You are taking a chance when pre ordering ANYTHING, from a new car to an Iphoneor even a game. There is unknown variables in all of it, also if you get first generation you will get all the bugs, kinks, and unfinished edges first but you also usually get a kick back much like you all got 25,000 MC ($100 worth), mechs, prem time, and closed beta access. We can trade right now if you want OP....i will just swap accounts with you?

Money is not everything to everyone some of us would prefer that armor over the $20 anyway. The most fun i get outta $20 bucks outside pixels is some food, maybe smokes and beer? Fold it up like a paper airplane and throw it at some strippers?

I will stick with the WOW armor.....
