I'm thinking something like this, but...hard to incorporate those AC20s without ditching almost everything else.

[edit: in my experience, anything moving slower than 60kph is DOA, and AMS is pretty big]

As a 100 ton, IS mech? Even if the hitboxes are friendly, I wouldn't bet on it. As an Assault THAT heavy, your job, more than anything else, is to tank damage for your team.

I'm sure it's do-able but still along the lines of ' you must surprise the enemy and survive with minimal damage ' which is tough to do unless the enemy sucks lol!

Seriously though in that sneak peek video from NGNG they did a two second shot in 3rd person and the back of this thing looks... gigantic. Can't wait to get home and find out for myself!

Yeah, I'd never run it that way, but it's an option. My thought, with those low-slung arms (and the whole point of the KGC) is brawling. The laser port are mounted way high up, so that's where you put your long range weapons. If someone gets close, you want to be able to punch them HARD.

The thing I'd worry about is that those arms won't pivot - you're in serious trouble if you get isolated by a Light.

Man, you guys like them slow - I'd be way too edgy about getting left behind. Maybe too much playing as a Light where I'm specifically looking for lone Whales waddling across the landscape, their team way out in front and too far away to help...
