How about Russ Bullock speaking about turret drops?

You know what happens when the queue gets stacked like that?
Attackers wait for 20-30 minutes, then get a real match... because matchmaker will only hold one attacking group in queue at a time. That means that when you see 60 on one side and 34 on the other, you've got 24 from each side fighting, 12 on the attacking side locked into a match waiting for opponents, and 24+ on the attacking side watching the clock count UP with a lobby full of "PILOT RECEIVING ORDERS."
Facts are a bit awkward, huh?
Facts? Lets walk through the facts, shall we?
Let me see if I get the math right here... Typical situation when its 60+ vs. 34, which has been typical lately:
Pretty much instant drop for 24 defenders, 8 sit waiting in lobby... can ignore those 8, they don't get to do anything... for the other 24 defenders, they go into 2 matches... so 1 min count down in lobby, 1 min in dropship, and lets say 28 min game, makes 30 min (nice round numbers)
For attackers, 24 get instant drop and the other 36+ sit in lobby... 12 of those get queued to attack and wait 10 min in lobby for defenders before dropping, and as soon as they drop, the next 12 are queued up...
So in the time that the two 12v12 matches are going on (30 min or so), you get 3 ghost drops (one every 10 min)...
Which means, even if Liao wins every match, they still lose to ghost drops...
Facts?
