I disagree with this truce: Ghost Bear should totally fight Wolf - they were talking about your mom, dude. YOUR MOM.

Also Jade Falcon. And Smoke Jaguar. *I* wouldn't stand for that: all of you Clanners um..."us" should fight each other.

As of day four, the ceasefire with Wolf was enacted, and the only subsequent Wolf/Ghost Bear conflict was instigated by Wolf units and a Wolf unit that switched to Ghost Bear.

The Widowmakers were never a part of Wolf for CW. They were Wolf before CW launched, but for all intents and purposes, they were established as a CGB unit when the cease fire was originally enacted.

It shouldn't make you laugh, because it's true.

Right now clan wolf stands as the weakest of the clans, and the least feared. This is not said in aggression or as an insult, but clan wolf needs to get it's affairs in order. You guys have numbers, good for you, but that's it. Any progress you make on the FRR front is very slow, and you even managed to lose planets to the FRR. Congratulations on taking 3 days to get back to where you were, THREE DAYS AGO.

Also, don't brag about taking a planet from LORDS. The fact that you just had more chow to feed into the grinder isn't impressive. The Steiners have been holding the Falcons at bay for a lot longer than you have been flirting with them. Try and stand up to a proper offensive thrust from CJF, and then you can brag. Even the bears have been smacking you around every now and then. It's part of why the ceasefire was signed. Because if it wasn't you'd have had too many fronts, and the bears (so far, unanimously agreed upon as the most successful of the clans), would have assimilated you.

Those words might be harsh, but you have to expect that. You guys decided to fly the wolf flag, everyone expected more from you than the others, because of the legacy, and reputation you're supposed to shoulder. You guys need to stop trashtalking, and start focusing on targets properly. Either krump one clan at a time, or get your affairs, and units in order, and start functioning as part of the group. By the way, that last part goes out to ALL the clans. Some of you have been more organized than others, but seriously, friendly rivalry is nice, just don't let it get in the way of a great experience for all.

Bears, unless you find a way to do it peacefully, you're gonna have a full on war with CJG VERY soon. You're taking all their invasion corridors from them. Talk to them, or get ready to get bitten.

Now if some of the forum math is correct. If you guys can get your affairs in order, you'll reach Terra within 63-ish days.

I lost you at the Ghost Bear part.

They can't do anything to us that we don't want and neither can the Falcons--the thing is, rather than an all-out war on our ALLIES that would let the IS push us back while we engaged in stupid infighting we would rather leave each other alone on the push to Terra.

However, once we get there (or even close) I'm pretty sure the gloves will come off.

Right. Um...pretty sure I heard them talking about your vat, though. "Wolf's vat was so fat..." something, something. You should totally go attack them for that.

Edit: please ignore my signature - I'm TOTALLY a clan loyalist and don't want to sew discord among the Clans. Us. I mean "us."

I for one do recognize that CSJ will at some point invade CGB territory. We have expanded into their corridor, effectively cutting them off from Terra, unless they want to make a d-tour through all of the Combine...

So, I think it's only right for them to push through the territory in their way, even if some of it is ours. To be honest, our push into Combine territory was a waste of our resources, that offensive front isn't even heading in the right direction. Our warriors will continue to press through that corridor probably, yes, there is no way we can prevent lone cubs from doing so. But I propose that, if Smoke Jaguar so wish it, they be allowed to push through that portion of our territory UNCONTESTED. They won the right along with us others to push for Terra. To cut them off as we have risks escalating tensions.

I propose this: All offensive Ghost Bear attacks should be concentrated on the FRR corridor, and all Ghost Bear units not supporting this offensive front can support clan defense hot spots. We will defend our holdings in Combine territory until Smoke Jaguar can take over. Does this proposal suit everyone's needs?

A better pathway would be through Clan-held territory, I think. Yes. Yes - push that way. IN FACT - you might want to head back to Strana Mechty and talk it out there. Don't worry: we'll hold things down here in the Inner Sphere while you're gone.

So, let us not kid ourselves, shall we?

Who are you kidding? Who has 7-8 separate 12 mans? I haven't seen a unit that big since last year before the Templars broke up. There is a MWO unit with 7-8 dedicated 12 man groups? Who are these giants?

I should think that would work fine. Appreciate the feedback :)
I like that idea as GB can give you guys Elissa, in exchange for whatever planet ends up being our staging post into Turkey territory. It would probably end up making things a little easier on both sides, especially GB.

@ Ipmagic

Mercstar is taking another contract with Ghost Bear this Thursday. Whenever we are fighting for the clans, we will be fighting for Ghost Bear. When we fight for the Sphere, we are much more flexible as to who we will fight for. In fact, we are open to any serious contract offers from the Inner Sphere powers.

The whole idea stems from Mercstar's desire to both open up another attack/defense corridor for all of Ghost Bear, as well as be able to go up against some of the stronger competitive outfits within a reasonable distance of GB territory.

At the end of the day, only having 2 attack lanes for Ghost Bear is insufficient (3 base minus 1 due to Wolf/Bear Ceasefire = 2). We find ourselves with nothing to do as our current lanes into FRR and Kurita space all end up 11-0 in our favour. At least whenever Mercstar's might is there. Mercstar's imminent return coupled with us gaining a few new allies to bolster our war fronts has left us with a strange conundrum. Too many Bears, not enough Salmon.

So, we need another attack/defense lane, wherever we can get it. We would prefer not to have to find it within the territory of our Wolf brothers. We have reports of the tastiest Salmon being in Turkey territory, so we figure that is as good a place as any to start looking. Unfortunately, if we cannot find a peaceful way to get there, the only alternative could be looting wolf camp grounds. And I don't think you guys really want that.

Antonius :)

First, my point was that some folks were acting as if they might speak for a fair portion of wolves, not the case. Second :) you know full well that any foray into our "camp" will be plenty of fun for all, I doubt you will see many running from the flames of our war camps, but you know this.

I have enough respect for you to take your comments at face value, and understand the byplay here perfectly. Just as we may not want the full weight of mercstar flooding through wolf territory for an erstwhile meeting with JF, similarly, you don't want an angry wolf snapping at your heels whilst fighting JF on a front so far from your main faction planets for support. It is one thing to look for a third front, it is another entirely to end up with 4, don't think others would not see your purpose march to JF and nip at your heels whilst your occupied elsewhere, and while your GB comrades are fine warriors, it might be a bit tough going, even for you fine folks.

be that as it may, I'm enjoying this tremendously!

my point was mostly though, that there is no ONE person in this thread that can speak to an overall wolf united front, that is another group of individuals entirely.......
peace out!

lol, then come play some young davion warrior, we have your measure I believe, and without mercstar, you are going to be sorely pressed, please find a way to come play with wolf. I know of at least one wolf unit that can withstand the davion hordes. I' am however, enjoying the heck out of you stirring the pot :) excellent skulduggery!

<S> Iraquiwalker and Davion, hope to see you soon, the talons of wolf are sharp, but the fangs? oh the lovely fangs :)

we are likely the least feared by you, because we have not played you, this will be rectified shortly, until then continue to try to sow discord, it's fun to watch!

What I have been trying to say for last few pages is "Get your act together, and work as one". I was also speaking specifically a few wolf pilots that were bragging about things they shouldn't brag about.

I have actually faced off against the wolves, and yes, your organized units can be terrifying. However, it looks like the fastest way for us to see you guys is to cut through the IS ourselves (probably with a detour through Luthien).

I do want to make one note: Mercstar are great, I loved having them around, but even without them, we were doing fine, and will likely keep doing fine.

I look forward to facing the wolves of Kersensky on the battlefield, but not just in defense.

Pssst: Can I borrow some popcorn from you? Looks like you guys brought in a lot with you. I'll trade you some for our Davion tea.

No, I talked to lpmagic, who is an awesome pilot that I've had the good fortune of knowing for a while now.

There's still nothing impressive on the map. Save for the fact that Rasalhague is getting surrounded by CGB, and I really want the IS factions to get their Asses into gear and start rolling into town to defend the Clan/IS border, and stop stabbing each other.

Haha yeah what an idiot, guy talks smack but forgets we are the furthest into IS space.

We just took 3 planets from the FRR and soon another 2.

That is actually incorrect. If you are going off of most southerly clan occupied territory it would be Clan Ghost Bear who is furthest into IS space, and they are attacking strongly into 2 IS fronts. Accuracy is sometimes important.
