Wasps do tend to burst when you shoot them.
I prefer Stingers, though.

"Keeping" one extra day shows how pious we are, right?
Very much this. Technically, the Biblical Sabbath begins on our Friday at sunset, and continues through until sunset on Saturday. Also, funnily enough, Christians are actually under no requirement to observe the Sabbath, as stated many times throughout Paul's epistles. (BTW; this conversation would be grounds for moderation on the HBS forums)

Sad that an innocent conversation would be moderated.

You and me both, BUT, there is a simple caveat. Just as on these forums, or at the work place, Freedom of Speech is NOT a right in these areas, and as such, they are entitled to enforce moderation however they see fit. If it does truly prove to be draconian, that will bear itself out when people simply stop posting in said forums.
On top of that, Mod or Member, the sad truth is not one of use can truly objectively look at our own posts or agendas. So what one person may consider "keeping the peace" or "engendering an air of respect" may indeed be more along the lines of legislated morality, one will almost never be able to convince such a person of it, because in their eyes, they are right. And it goes the same with the abuse of our "right to expression" as many will even defend hate speech, and such.
So, it is what it is. It's not meant as an indictment of the forums there. But simply as a PSA to some of our more flamboyant and colorful posters, that what they may be used to flying here, or elsewhere, may well indeed get them unwanted attention, there.

I'm also partial to STG-3G in tabletop (mainly for the armour). But for MWO I think I'd prefer the Wasp, for the torso hardpoints. Though I'm only really familiar with STG-3R/3G, not sure if some later variants gets torso hardpoints.
Arm-hardpoint only Stingers would suffer of the Phoenix Hawk syndrome aka. "look ma, no hands", only twice as bad.
(Interesting stuff about Saturdays/Sundays. Well, I hope Russ thinks Sunday's the seventh day. Because yeah, I wanna buy a mechpack ... maybe, depending on what it is.)

I got a freebie waiting from a contest that I haven't cashed in yet because "BORING" is the only way to describe half the offerings of late... so I am praying it'll be an interesting design, regardless of Weight.
For Lights, I'll be honest none of my "wants'" really I feel are Meta performers.
-Fireball
-Stinger
-Wasp
-Hussar
-Mongoose
-Jackal
covers the only remaining IS Light designs I remotely find interesting.

*Sigh*... It's probably going to be the Crusader.
Sorry Joudas, but my continued spending on this game relies very strongly on it actually being the Crusader, or the Assassin

CGL already has.
Truth to tell they might have the Stinger in one of the new Sourcebooks, already, too.... but this was based off the classic TT Miniature, which I always felt looked great. Any Stinger, I hope is in this vein, tbh. Even more than in the Macross look.
Love the proportions (cockpit obviously is partly in the "CT") but really love love love how the legs were done. Kinda knife edge meets bell bottoms.

They really did nail it, with the Wasp and stinger models, those legs though in this game wouldn't last long, so if a miracle happens and there every are these two wonderful mechs I'd be happy with drain pipe legs over bell bottoms as good as they are
