It took this long just to make PGI finally add a few new weapons. Something that requires a lot of mechlab overhauling is basically never gonna happen. :\

Yeah. I would say don't expect special Cockpits or Gyros, Compact anything, C3, and probably no Stealth Armor. Just off the top of the list. Also no iNARC since it need switch ammo. And while Pariah and others have come up with workable ways to emulate the ATM and MML, I would not expect them either as PGI will insist they have to be switch ammo, which they can't do.

Or PGI would do it the same was as Clan ACs and create separate placeholder weapons for each ammo type.

that.d be worse than not having it.... which means that's what they will probably do.

Actually, Gyro type and cockpit type would be pretty simple as a slider like Endo / Ferro without changing too much.

Just have say 'standard' and 'small', that adjust slots where needed in the mech and tonnage of the mech / engines as needed.

It looks better than I expected. I may have to buy the mech pack (yes, I am aware of the new mech upgrade system coming and I am still wanting it).

The SVN and the Nova Cat are both mechs that remind me how much it irritates the piss out of me that Clan ghost heat for ERLLas is set to limit of 2. These mechs were designed to fire 3 ERLLas at a time. -_-

is it just me or are those legs looking absolutely massive in that pic? I mean, like Linebacker Concept Art massive.

That could be a unique upgrade node for them! Even if it immediately excluded weapon cool down, it'd be worth it for the mechs.

He didn't skip leg day

The look really reminds me of some guys I used to see regularly at the gym over in the eastern block. Built like a barrel, but this is more like a barrel tipped on its side. If these are slow moving, I think we can accurately deduce their origin. I'd also like to buy a track suit and maybe a gold chain for it... feed it with dumplings and cabbage...

I find the lack of torso energy hardpoints being in the vents on either side of the cockpit, while not unexpected, disappointing. Especially as used that space for missiles, but not energy, Granted, the torso energy on the LT or RT is only just below the cockpit, but this thing needs all the help it can get.
