I would love to see that! But imo that would be a curveball approach to it. Like seeing Mr.GARGLES used in the MWO WC by GCB. Shocks the first few teams. But people start learning to adapt.

But that might break the boating mentality. Knowing A. The enemy team could be brining X armor to break it.

I have a feel the meta might switch to mixed builds actually with use of standard or Ferro Fib armor ect just cause it would apply on a less RNG table if that makes sense.

Eh, the one thing the Meta does not adapt well to is uncertainty. Thus, not knowing what whether Dakka or PewPew is the way to succeed? Drive the Minmaxxers nuts. They might split decks as a result, but likely not.

From the front it looks like easy to hit ST's, with an average width CT... I hope the yellow part of the shoulders will be arm as well, might give it some protection from the sides....

Okay.... looks like her ST's are going to take a bunch of punishment.... also looks like the CT will be fairly easy to pick out too... even from the side.... All depends on how much of that nose will be ST or CT...

Upside, with an XL325, 31 DHS, and MK1 TC, you can fire the 6x ERLLas in sets of three, two times per arm, and still not overheat.

Don't get me wrong, she looks like she'll be a decent extreme range sniper, but not much else.

Basically my long and short of it. Someone gifted me the collector pack for the mech, but I would never have purchased it, myself. Even if it is a mech in heavy Nova Cat use. Very much a one trick pony. Plop it down on Alpine and it would probably be lethal in the right place, but otherwise? Meh.

Even on Polar it might be okay due to the long sight lines there... but for the most part, I'd rather take a Warhawk.

Only the SVN-1 looks worth it to me, too. What with the burn duration reduction, the damage per tick, per arm blast, might be worth it. However, even with 28 DHS, it makes a mockery of 3x ERLLas, let alone with 31.

Edit:

Full arm actuator sets could be fun, though. Full range of motion on DEATH LAZ0R arms.

Still I foresee this as another mech that gets dumped into the same corner as the Highlander IIC, once they are mastered....

well, I was able to get several staggered 3 ER LL blasts, about 1.5 seconds between, was able to lay out 231 dmg on the Simulator w/GH engaged before shutting down. But one alpha hit about 115%.

I really hate that added block between the rotation ring and the torso itself.... the whole thing just looks off, like they tried to put a humanoid waist on it.

What simulator are you using to get this info?

Quad ER PPC or Large Pulse builds will likely be inferior to the Warhawk, due to the Warhawk having some quirks that make it slightly better (in addition to being faster).

That's pretty much standard procedure though, isn't it?

Note: Not taking a pot shot here. I thought the art and modelling teams did that on purpose for the way this game does torso-twist.

Is there a different kind of waist that my non-artistic eye doesn't distinguish?

Edit: 1,000 posts!

Not quite as good as I would've liked, but better than I had feared... It just doesn't feel heavy enough in that video.

Is it just me or does it look like that Supernova is going to fall over because someone installed the feet on backwards?
