(just adding the image here to show how Alex Iglesias managed to improve the concept art)
And if you like MW4, PGI just announced the Fafnir. I'm sure Argus is coming soon (after the Blood Asp next month).

Kinda weird having two different dates the game goes by. Does this mean we get the machine gun array soon?
Oddly enough, there are a couple mechs recently added that have MG arrays stock. PGI's solution (as with A-pods) was to simply leave the guns, remove the "array" element, and fill the tonnage with something else.
The new Cheetah and Lynx are purported to have undergone this treatment.
This is exactly why I think we can remove the MASC 1 from the Fire Moth (or remove it's speed bonus and leave the equipment). They do this all the time with equipment they don't want to see, or with equipment that has no functional purpose.
MASC1 literally can't exist in-game, because the only mech that runs it (the Moth), would shatter the game's speed limit So ... it's speed bonus has no business being in the game. They can do it, I think they just don't want to.

Improved Heavy Lasers will turn their user into a walking bomb because they explode when destroyed, and definitely won't have very high health based on the current item health values...

Still means you lose your body section a lot quicker. CASE is overrated, even when it's completely free.

So long as they make the FRR camo look good on it, I'm game.

If you're gonna go LRM-assault, go full LRM-assault.
Go Longbow.
Viking's cool and all, but the Sarna entry reminded me that the Beowulf would be amusing.

What about the LGB-13NAIS varaint? that could be fun... if PGI ever gives us LAC/s....

LGB-13NAIS
- This variant removes all missile launchers from the Longbow and uses a standard Fusion Engine, though it does use an Endo Steel frame to save weight. Each arm mounts three Light Autocannon/5s that can make use of special munitions produced by the Federated Suns. To ensure that it can mount such ammunition, seven tons are allotted to the ammunition bins. A Guardian ECM Suite protects it from enemy electronics, while a C3 Slave uses targeting data from other C3 equipped units to improve its accuracy. The 13NAIS mounts on ER Small Laser and a pair of ER Medium Lasers, along with a pair of B-Pods for use against battle armor.

Wow, I would buy that mech with real money. Unfortunately, it will probably never happen in MWO.

And one cool rendition of the Raptor (actually a Raptor II, but could be used as reference for MWO's concept art):

The 0C

0W

7Q

12C

12R

If we got something with the hit boxes of either the 0C or the 12 series, the Longbow would actually be border line OP if we got the 13NAIS version... Still I think it could make for a fun 85t chassis....

(And the Naga for Clantech, of course. Hardwire the Arrow IV's into the chassis.)
