6 to 6 and I also remember 2 of those that were out the week before, however due to art not being done for one and the person they have doing site work not being there they dropped early the following week.

I do believe it was the Champion and the Vapor Eagle that got delayed a week.

Hmm I'm more inclined to guess Fire Falcon for a light. Fairly popular & expands the Clan 25 ton slot but the Locust IIc would be epic sauce. Sure it's another IIc but it'd be so good in game.

I do think so.

Firemoth (dream), Fire Falcon (realistic), or Hellion (dark horse)

Or its a Clan Mech in all but Tech Base - and starts with Fire as well or another that ends with Falcon - or maybe it's a Mongoose.
When PGI plans a DLC for MW5 including Clans then the Clan Light WILL be the Firemoth, the Fire Falcon while used on the holy ground of Tukkayyid is less known.

I honestly really hope it's NOT the Hellion. I agree the Firemoth is the dream that PGI just needs to grow a spine and do, but at least there are a number of nice clan lights that PGI could do.

Here's hoping it is, in fact, a clan light, because we really do need more lights and lower-tonnage mediums across both tech bases.

Maybe they will wait until the special Catapult/MW5 combo is over.

The Fire Falcon is a 25 ton light with about 10 tons of pod space (based on Sarna's Prime loadout). The torso hitboxes look like a squashed Jenner. Color me non-optimistic about its viability in combat thanks to hitboxes.
Doesn't the Kit Fox carry roughly the same payload?

KFX has more payload in terms of pod space but it's slow and squishy. Here is the Fire Falcon spreadsheet:

If we get the Alt C, D, F, and H we could mount 12 MGs with 6 backup lasers of choice. Or alternatively 10 lasers and 8 MGs.

Of course I think PGI would probably not give us the full meta combo of C/D/F/H variants because we aren't allowed to have nice things.

EDIT: Wait...18 weapons would break the weapon limit. We're limited to just 16 weapons right?

First off, just noticed . . . you can remove remarks about "true dubs" because with the heat system overhaul, all heat sinks function exactly the same.

Secondly, as far as the weapon limit goes, it's an interesting prospect. If they do have a hard-coded 16 weapon limit, then it'd probably just give a red "invalid mech" notice and force you to remove 2 weapons. On the other hand, it's not like the UI cannot support more than 16 weapons. You can set up a Nova with 12 lasers, 4 ballistics, and still have the AMS center torso. The AMS is still technically classified as a weapon and shows up in the weapons UI . . . therefore I don't think the limit stops at 16.

This spreadsheet was made years ago when PoorDubs were still a thing, I haven't updated it because it has all the variants this mech will ever get.

For the weapon limit, right now the mechlab gives you a red triangle warning if you try to mount more than 16 guns. Very few mechs can even reach that level though, such as the Dire Whale.

Well then, it shows how long it's been since I touched my Nova. Just tried it in the in-game mech lab and you're correct, 16+ weapons (including AMS) gives an invalid loadout icon. Doesn't bother me, I normally run triple AMS anyway, so I don't hit that limit.

Therefore, they could release whatever they want for the Fire Falcon, and people would just have to use the omnipods judiciously. I'm fine with that.

I agree but, realistically, the community does not.
Lights are the least played weight class, they seem to sell worse, and they certainly mean less profit for PGI since the community forced them to reduce the price for light Mech packs. What's worse, any half-way decent light Mech will be called op by a large number of players. Unfortunately I can understand PGI being reluctant to release a light.

And at this point, PGI is playing it safe, hence the IIC-units. Those are boring but they benefit from their (truly famous) progenitors' fame.

I hope I am wrong, because the Pack Hunter, especially the -2 variant, is one of the few Clan Mechs I might actually buy.
