P.S: That Banshee could be a great hint at what's to come guys, since now it clearly resembles a MW:O design and well, it wouldn't be the first time we've got a sneak peek like that.

OK.. cool TWolf, hideously BAD Banshee. The collar makes it look like it has massive sideburns, and it looks like it has a nose. And Sunglasses. Vic Rattlehead skull Banshee, OK< old biker/stoner face banshee, not so much

I loved that Banshee - it is the best I ever saw.
BTW, the original art has sunglasses. :(

People need to stop advocating for more assaults. Meta demands more mediums. Whitworth, Dervish, Hermes II, Clint, etc. Also the Banshee IS an Atlas clone. Both are described in writing as having death's head cockpits. Why not a Cyclops? That at least looks different.

Loadout wise so is the Cyclops.

Regardless, with either the Banshee or the Cyclops people will complain that by having it's head on it's shoulders (rather than buried in it's chest, or with one tiny cockpit window) that playing it is "headshot city". That discussion will devolve down into complaints about general mech sizing/volume; and ultimately demands that the hitboxes on the Awesome be fixed.

If we have to have something in the Assault class, I'd prefer the Zeus. people will ***** regardless. So I say lets choose something that I would actually drive.

there seems to be a lot of support for the Banshee, MWO needs the mech :ph34r: most Banshees were placed in second-line reserves to provide fire support or fulfill the role of brawlers so that better-armed 'Mechs need not engage in hand-to-hand combat. the IS melee wrecking machine is waiting to pound on a mech near you! Why meta demands more mediums?
I think there is a role for every size of mechs (and that will be even better when we have matchmaking based on total team weight).

sunglasses are fine, It's the fact it looks like THE DUDE made into a mech that kinda doesn't work for me.

well, the game needs more mediums as it is ridiculously top heavy now. Sadly, just offering more mediums wont actually change that part one little bit.

The problem is: mediums are hard to use. They demand a lot of skill to be a worthy tool.

The game offers a lot of good options already - we just need a few more fast, jumping mediums to complete the set.

Dunno about heroes, we miss several, it will be interesting to see if Sarah's hero will be accounted as the true jenner hero or if we'll have a second one (like they did with the Dragon).

Now I was rethinking a few things.. remember the infamous "we have 6 ready designs?". Well, Victor and Quickdraw are the first two, then we know we'll have 6 mechs per chassis.

We know the flea it's incoming (5th light) -> we miss the 6th light announcement
We know the Victor is coming -> we still miss the 6th assault
We then miss the 6th medium

Since math isn't an opinion we know 2 of them, and we miss three, for a total of 5 mechs. The ready designs were SIX. What's the 6th mech? Wut? First clan? We'll have 7 mechs per class? We're roughly covered for this year in mechs releases, if Clans are away for the second quarter after launch (let's say may 2014) what will they give us until then?

I was really hoping the Sarah/Hero Jenner would have ECM!

Alas, it doesn't look to be so.

So the Jenner is the ONLY light mech without an ECM variant.
