I do not hate it I am just sick of the boxy humanoid mechs. I would rather have the Crab and King Crab or in a year or so the Bushwacker.

So, according to the AtD VLog #1, the Macross Unseen are a no-go, even if redesigned.
So much for the Marauder and Warhammer... :P

aww come on guys, who wouldn't want a mech iirc is bigger and more zexy than the Atlas :P besides we need a faster melee assault that can turn most mechs to scrap, I keep hoping they bring melee to MWO.

*le sad face

Though, he did mention a fourth Unseen class, outside of Crusher Joe, Dougram, and Macross, that could be a possibility.

That could be a reference to the Victor Musical Industries (now Victor Entertainment) Unseen... which are mainly some of the "second-line" non-OmniTech Clan 'Mechs (with some possibilities, given that three 3050-era variants would be needed, being the Locust IIC and Jenner IIC) and a few of the ComStar-specific 'Mechs (such as the Raijin, Grand Crusader, and Nexus). :)

I interpreted that to mean that quads were not totally out of the picture. Sure, they're not doing any work on them now, but if they wanted to, they could bring them in. That's my take on it anyway. The smmaaaaallllllllest glimmer of silver on that Unseen raincloud.

He probably meant the Osts - although they are usually counted as Macross unseen, changes made to them by FASA (addition of arms etc.) made they different enough from original non-BT artwork to consider them, well, "seen" again.

Never. We are merciless in our critique.

Also I wanted to take a moment to speculate on the next hero mech/geometry revamp pass:

Hero Mechs (By Chassis) (Bold indicates the chassis needs a geometry pass, * denotes new phoenix mechs)
Locust - None*
Commando - Death's Knell
Spider - None
Jenner - Oxide
Raven - None
---------------------
Cicada - X5
Blackjack - None (this has unique geometry but the AC2/AC5/AC10/AC20 are hard to tell apart)
Hunchback - Grid Iron
Centurion - Yen Lo Wang
Trebuchet - None
Kintaro - Golden Boy
Griffin - None*
Shadow Hawk - None*
Wolverine - None*
-------------------------
Dragon - Flame, Fang
Quickdraw - None
Catapult - Jester
Jagermech - Firebrand (Ballistics have unique geometry but Missiles & Energy do not)
Thunderbolt - None*
Cataphract - Ilya Muromets
Orion - Protector
-------------------------
Awesome - Pretty Baby
Victor - Dragon Slayer
Stalker - Misery
Battlemaster - None*
Highlander - Heavy Metal
Atlas - Boar's Head

After looking at this I believe the next hero will be one of these chassis:

Spider
Raven
Trebuchet
Quickdraw

Because they fit both criteria. A, the need for a hero mech and B, the need for a geometry pass. After that I assume they will go down the line of oldest mechs in the game + oldest hero mechs and begin the next set of hero mechs for each chassis that way. Or they will release geometry updates for chassis already with hero mechs in need of them along side hero mechs of the phoenix chassis.

Edit: I forgot about the Blackjack. A BJ hero would come before the Phoenix variants).

Alt. Config B doesn't work; for the Artemis system (essentially an IR laser designator + microwave (that is, radio) transmitter) to work for a launcher, it must be in the same body section as the launcher with which it is paired.. and each Artemis system can only be mated to one launcher.
(This would be easily resolved by switching the places of the Artemis suites and the LRM ammo bins.)

Additionally, the paragraph after the description of Alt. Config D would be more clear if, instead of "the 3 omni pods of each configuration..." (which doesn't make sense in terms of the 'Mech described, as it is obviously carrying more than three pods in each configuration), phrasing more to the effect of "the three OmniPod mounting points in each location..." is used.
(Though, the way that whole paragraph is presented makes it come off as both a cheesy build in BT terms and a thinly-veiled jab at the MWO OmniMech customization system - were either or both of those intended?)

Also, the inner monologues of your proud Jade Falcon are using Spheroid speech patterns (use of contractions, interjections like "hey...", aand so on); outside for the specific concatenations (e.g. "ristar" for "rising star", "sibko" for "sibling company", and so on), Clansmen (especially MechWarrior, and doubly so for Trueborns) place heavy emphasis on prim-and-proper diction. ^_^

Moreover, the phrase "the so-called Odanan" grammatically implies that "Odanan" is a title or rank rather than the individual's name (and it is difficult to determine if that is what you were intending); phrasing such as "this 'Odanan'" leaves a lot more leeway in terms of going either way (and, IMO, sounds better in imagining someone actually saying that is written... especially in regard to the previous point about the Clans' paradoxical issues with grammar).

Thanks! I will make the changes.
