just curious, but the mauler is showing confirmed on the list. I would love to see that next for assaults. Any idea what that conformed means lol?

Just that Bryan Ekman mentioned on the NGNG podcast that Alex (Flying Debris) is drawing up concept art for the Mauler. So that means that nope the next assault will not be the Mauler and most likely will be either the Zeus, Cyclops, or the Banshee (I really hope that Alex avoids his cover art). If I am really lucky and get my wish it will be either the King Crab or the Thug but I doubt it.

been waiting for the day I can pilot my Banshee but, There is another! mech that might have gotten the needed makeover to be put into MWO, almost forgot about thismech....

The Mackie is pretty uncommon these days... after all, it's not produced for the last 300 years.

One of my MGA buddies said that PGI has narrowed down the next assault mech again by stating it isn't 85 tons. Not that any of the real contenders are that weight bracket:

Banshee - 95T
Cyclops - 90T
Zeus - 80T

Runners Up:

King Crab - 100T
Mackie - 100T
Thug - 80T
Charger - 80T
Hatamoto-Chi - 80T

OK, but you might remove the Mackie from that list.

Not a Cyclops. It's just a slightly smaller Atlas, just with the SRM launcher moved to the CT.

I would guess the next assault would be the Banshee or Zues, with my betting on Banshee. We don't have a 95 tonner, and there is nothing wrong with the Banshee that the mechlab, some C-bills, and using your brains can't fix.
