They don't use to schedule the concept art announcements.
BTW, I'm not angry anymore: the devs decided that Jenner won't have ECM.

Though, if the release the Clans with a Trial 'Mech system similar to what we have now in the IS, it would be interesting to see a Clan Trial 'Mech system using such second-line machines... which is, in a way, makes a certain degree of sense - grind in a second-line Trial 'Mech until proven worthy (perhaps through a Trial of Position?) of earning an OmniMech.
Though, with the both the canon invasion date (March of 2013) and the timeframe specified in PC Gamer ("Summer 2013" on pg. 39; I seem to recall hearing August specified elsewhere? ), I could see PGI delaying the release of the next two IS 'Mechs (one in Dec. and one in Jan., or one in Jan. and one in Feb.; a Hero 'Mech announcement or two could fill the time if need be) to stretch things out, then start showcasing Clan 'Mechs in March in preparation for summer availability.
Your thoughts?

I doubt they will keep the Summer 2013 timeline.

Cant say I worry about it.
As long as they dont go Duke Nukem or Blizzard Diablo 3. I'd rather see them add 6 months to make it GOOD than being forced to release something unfinished by their projected release date.

Well, they DO have a sign that says welcome to the beta so they admit it is not finished.

I agree they should have kept the 3 weeks interval, but it's not taking that long for mechs to be implemented in game. 6 to 7 months are more likely.

Because the more I see the King Crab, the more I want it. And I normally hate piloting assaults.
I mean, really, PGI's choices in 'mechs so far haven't been that great in my opinion. Plus, mechs like the King Crab, Catapult and all those have a really unique visual presence that I'm aware is far more interesting and eye-catching to many people I've polled.

So all we know for now is Stalker on Dec 18, then Spider on Jan 15. Beyond that, its anyone's guess now that they switched the order.
Well that is F-ing disappointing.
Really wish PGI would quite f-ing around and release the mechs in the order the art was released...y'know, meet players expectations. (intended or not)
I could give a rat's-@$$ about the Spider at this point.
Was really looking forward to the TBT series...-5N, -5S, -5J, -7M and that bizarre but fun Kurita variant the -7K. Hell, even the TBT-3C could be added immediately.
Just what MWO needs right now....another light mech.
Won't be activating my premium account any time soon I guess.
BALLS.

I don't think he saw the Flea, Spider, or Highlander coming.
I didn't!
But I did see the Stalker, JagerMech and Blackjack. And the Orion.
The crossed mechs are good candidates that for some reason will probably (IMHO) not be added soon.
And mechs that are not in the list are mechs that most likely wouldn't fit in MWO. That includes mechs with not enough variants (like the Mauler), not enough distinguished variants (like the Black Knight) or simply extinct (like the Hammer Hands), too rare and/or too obscure (like the Wolf Dragoons only mechs: Annihilator, Shogun, Imp...).
