I'm going to echo Ens here...I hope not.

I'm hoping that even while the Clan 'mechs are being announced they're still working on more I.S. mechs even if the release doesn't come in groups of 5 like it had been.

Yeah, I don't hope so either. I'd prefer they stealth-implement clan mechs with no prior announcement to really set the feel for an invasion.
But it's just a theory as to why new mechs hasn't been announced for a while, save hero variants.

well i hope that, when clan mechs start to be announced, that they will release the missing IS mechs at a more frequent ratio.....like 2 mechs per month or so

this would be nice for the upcoming clan mechs as well....otherweise there will be CW against the clans and IS teams only have to fight against, say..... a clan team consisting of nothing but vultures and mad cats, because there are no other mechs available within the game....you know what i mean?

I agree! I hope the pace of mech implementation speeds up, but I highly doubt it will anytime this year (not including the clan mechs they've sandbagged for the big release). They have too many things on their plates, CW, Clan Invasion, U.I. 2.0, new maps, etc...

Maybe this is old news, but I noticed today that the Highlander is listed as "Preparing for Launch" under Game/Battlemechs/Assault.

I didn't see that in Bryan's last content update and it jumps in front of the Flea in announcement order. At one per month with the Trebuchet and Jaegermech already slotted that puts the Highlander in April for launch.

Lights -> Mediums -> Heavies -> Assaults

as seen the last few patches

Awesome -> Raven -> Cicada -> Cataphract -> Stalker -> Spider -> Feb. 19th Trebuchet -> Mar. ?? Jagermech -> Apr. ?? Highlander -> who knows after that (i.e. clans may take stage instead of releasing the 5th round of IS mechs).

I think they will release all the 20 IS mechs before the Clan one are playable. Maybe even Community Warfare comes before the Clans*. After all, it's not just adding new mechs, but adding lots of new weapons, equipment and rules.

*Though I think they will show us the Clan mechs concept arts meanwhile, starting next month.

How is ostscout unseen what anime is that from?

I thought the Jaegermech was coming in April, hearing March makes my heart all a flutter.

Hope they do, really want to see the new concept art.

Any ideas on the next Hero? Been thinking it will be a Cicada or Trebuchet.

We've been discussing this for the last month or so. Of the assaults it's most likely to be the Banshee, Zeus or Hatamoto-Chi. With the runners up being the Cyclops and Charger.

As for the next hero it's increasing likely to either be a Jenner or a Cicada.

I believe the Ostscout is originally from Macross/Robotech.

Entirely possible. Considering they invade from the periphery in a few months then leave to decide a new ilKhan they might wait to make the clans playable until the second wave of the invasiom. If they do then we can expect:

May: Flea -> June: Blackjack -> July: Orion -> August: 5th Assault

And I do agree that they will probably start the clan mech announcements in March or April. I still believe they will do them in "waves" either 1 mech a week for a month or maybe all at once. We'll see what happens because to be honest they can't really do what they've been doing with the IS mechs announcing one a month and have it playable months later.
