So I've got an idea.

If the concept art isn't released today, I want to make a thread and ask people to not give PGI another cent until the next two pieces of Concept Art are released.

I will also ask that they post in the thread if they agree to this decision, so I can start a list of names.

Except there seems to be zero problem with redesigns.

That artwork is from November of 2012, not too long ago. I think we'd have seen an issue if it wasn't ok to redesign the current 'mechs and use those redesigns.

Example, they put that Marauder on the cover of the Tech Readout.



So honestly, I'm betting they're cooking up some wicked Unseen/Reseen mech designs and we'll just have to wait until they decide to unleash it on the public. If they made it an MC cost 'mech pack, they'd be FLOODED with money in short order.

I don't think the reseen/unseen are off limits, but I don't believe we'll see them before the Clan Invasion is handled.

I highly doubt there will be any unseen/reseen mechs EVER.

I think the Clan mechs will gather a lot more money. The Battletech fans that miss the unseen reseen are a vocal, but not large part of the overall fan base, and the potential risk for lawsuits, and just overall irritation wouldn't be worth it.

Besides. What's in a name. That's not a Marauder, that's a different mech called a Marauder. If I called a Vulture an Archer, would that be the same? The primary vulture can play a similiar role after all...

The monetization value is far less than you seem to think. People in this game tend to buy mostly for actual capability first.

Lets see some more 95-100 Ton assault mechs, Its sad the only thing above the 85-Ton Stalker is the 100-Ton Atlas.

The Highlander is much more than a "poor Man's Atlas", IMO. But yes, give us some in the 95 ton class!
