Calling it laziness is a surefire way to get them in the mood to post some concept art. Keep it up.

Whenever they'd like to release it is fine with me, while it'd be nice to see some new art...I'm not going to call them lazy for not producing it. Do whatever you need to do PGI, you know we'll still be here

Like I care, I'm not coughing up another dime until we get the concept art for the next two Mechs.

I know the art is done because Alex has told us it is.

Garth was on the NGNG TS while we were doing Marik Monday Madness and he was AFK in the office channel so he should be back from Vacation.

Agreed. If we do not use the means provided to us (twitter/FB/Forums) to let our support/approval/disapproval/OSPGIWAYD?!, then this ship is gonna get iceberged. HARD. And all it takes for that to happen is for the Devs to not listen to us when we're trying to give them helpful feedback and constructive criticism.

As said in here before, they could be holding to release four Clan mechs at once so we could be looking at four months. Though where that supposed #20 Inner Sphere assault ties in, I don't have a clue at this point.

Seems more likely to me someone just realized how silly it was to be releasing mech concept art so far in advance of the mech actually being implemented...

"Hey here's a cool new mech you won't actually be able to play for 6 months!"

Concept art builds anticipation and as well as generates more traffic for your website and also creates talking points for the forums. All three of those things this game could use in spades.

I don't disagree with you, but I think it is more of an issue of development than marketing. They ought to consider farming out some of the coding to help clear up the back log. I can't see how an initial investment like that couldn't help in the long run. The fact it still takes them at least a month per mech is not helping this game. I'm still convinced it's due to developing the clans alongside IS, but if it isn't.... well, then it's going to be a long year for Mechwarrior fans.

Depending on how many clan mechs they introduce at the beginning they may already be producing two mechs per month. They just won't get released until they are all ready.
