Some of thr Clan mechs that have a distinct shroud/siloette (Adder and Dire Wolf in particular) I wonder if they'll have a different flavor of hitboxes like that cowl is only the side torsi and under it is the center

Would be neat for torso twist tanking : )

If you look right above the MPL on the right torso you can see the clan Wolf decal on it. On the original there is the Smoke Jaguar on it instead in the same spot. So kudos on putting the rightful Clan decal on it. The only Smoke Jaguar that I want seen piloting one is Trent.

So, suggestions for Clan hero mechs?

Let's try to figure out some famous pilots and mechs:

• Dire Wolf: Widowmaker (Natasha Kerensky's) - there is no doubt about this one.
  
• Executioner: Vlad Ward's? Vandervahn Chistu's?
  
• Warhawk: Diana Pryde's?
  
• Gargoyle: Ulric Kerensky's?
  
• Timber Wolf: "Mad Cat Pryde" (Aidan Pryde's)
  
• Summoner: Joanna's? Elias Crichell's? Marthe Pryde's?
  
• Hellbringer: ?
  
• Mad Dog: ?
  
• Stormcrow: ?
  
• Nova: ?
  
• Ice Ferret: ?
  
• Fire Moth: ?
  
• Viper: ?
  
• Adder: ?
  
• Kit Fox: ?
  
• Mist Linx: ?
  
• Fire Moth: Fire Moth Aletha (Aletha Kabrinsky's)

I know Phelan piloted a multitude of different mechs (including Kit Fox and Nova), so he might be a choice for one of these.

Bring on the Loremasters! (maybe PGI can have some canon ideas here instead of inventing new stuff)

I would really like to see two hero mechs for each of the 6 invading Clans... (the math fits if the add these 4 extra, time-wise Clan omnimechs: Arctic Cheetah, Shadow Cat, Ebon Jaguar and Kingfisher)

Aidan and Diana's mechs will not be official until May 2015 (Tukayyid was May 1st, 3052 - May 20th, 3052) and I believe they used the prime variants except with some stuff removed so that they could add JJs. The Summoner could be Horse's or Marthe Pryde's. Ice Ferret could be Star Commander Craig Ward of clan Wolf. Joann piloted a few mechs like the Hellbringer and Mad Dog so she could have those. Unfortunately though, this heavily favors the Jade Falcons and possibly Smoke Jaguars since lore seems to focus more on them.

The Hero Thor could be Nicolai Malthus' 'Mech (including the redone, centered cockpit ), and the Hero Vulture could be Kristen Redmond's 'Mech.

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that PGI slipped in the UAC animation in one of the patches? I do not use them much so it could be a long time thing but I was trying out this http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b31e6814c9c914e since Bishop kept ragging on me using an AC20 on it and I wanted to see that cool Gatling Cannon in my view. I took the mech out and noticed that it now rotates when you shoot where before it was just for show without the animation.

The UAC always rotated. Tried it on the day the Phoenix mechs came out and it already rotated back then.

Oh, and the AC/5 recoils. This doesn't seem to be the case with the bigger ACs, though.

Watching the feed through other people the UACs do not have any animation on Jagermechs and Victors so I did not think that they would. But the Phoenix mechs seem to have some features that non of the others do. I did not notice the AC5 recoil though. I will have to check it out.

Yeah, as a spectator you can't see it. But when putting an UAC/AC5 on a Shadow Hawk, you can actually see it rotate/recoil in your view.

I run ac5/ac2 on my SDH and they both recoil. Don't remember if the ac10/20 did though....

A mod of the Summoner's concept art, started by Tyberion (fixing the legs) and finished by me (making the cockpit less "bubble-y" and the arm laser less weird, and of course, proper paint)
