A Mech we might want to add to the Medium Mech list. A Whitworth. It's a light LRM solution for the Inner Sphere.

At 40 tons It would probably be more popular in CW than in normal Pub matches.

As one of the mechs from the "Basic Box", this might show up in the game someday. However, the variants are quite boring and, besides CW, it should not be a powerful mech (too light for a proper LRM boat, too slow for a SRM boat) - unless heavily quirked. Imagine a slower, lighter Trebuchet.

It should look something like this in MWO (this is a sketch by Alex Iglesias):

From the commercial stand point, I don't think this mech will sell well, so PGI will probably give priority to other medium mechs, like the Sentinel, Vulcan, Clint, Assassin, maybe even the Dervish (a bigger, more functional Whitworth) or the Crab (which, despite the uniform variants would look terrific in the game).

Even with boring variants, I'd lve to see the rest of the Introductory Box in game.
We're only missing the Assassin, Clint, Hermes II, Whitworth, Dervish and Cyclops.

We've got the rest
Spoiler

Sure looks like a Hellstar.... That'd be a mean machine, but I think it might be a bit lacking in MWO, with cERPPC's...

Hellstar, quad cERPPC'S. In all of Bishop's designs with PPC's they all have those big barrels with the leses recessed.

Well, in fairness, I totally ganked those PPC barrels from Alex, lol.

Looking at whats left there is

No Heavy mechs I want, it will be a cold day in hell before any of the ones on the suggested make my mech bays

One light mech I want the dervish.

Two assault mechs Charger, and Cyclops, it will be a cold day etc etc before any others make it, with the exception of maybe the annihlater

Mediums there are several Assassin, Clint, Hermes II, Whitworth, Vulcan

Adding the fact, PGI don't release the first pair of mechs in a condition allowing you to use the faction camo you paid for, looks like I won't be buying anymore packs,

Great looking mech. Sadly I doubt we will ever see it even if we move ahead to that time line.

They are pretty scary on TT, they can keep up a 4/4/3 fire chain till they drop, and that keeps them from hitting the 5 heat -1MP, even when running.

Hellstars are arguably one of the most dangerous 'Mechs for another one to deal with, since depending on the variant, you're getting those cool-running quad ERPPCs, or there's variants that switch things around a bit to add targeting computers or a quad ERLL/ECM carrier with a few MPLs just to round things out.

On the other hand, watching one get caught by infantry is hilarious, as the ERPPC bolts barely damage the infantry unit and the infantry tend to jump on it, hit it with some kneecapping charges, and you get to watch one of the most expensive 'Mechs in the game keel over with a broken leg.

-Everything- in Battletech has a weak point. It's only when games run nothing but robots that those weak points become meaningless.

Based upon that silhouette, I think that is going to be a pretty svelte assault! Cannot wait to see it in full!

Executioner!! Wow!! That means:

1- they are implementing MASC;
2- they will release the MASC mechs without MASC (maybe with more armor and/or DHS).

Either way, cool!

Now, Clan Wave 3:

Light:
- Fire Moth (too fast?) or Arctic Cheetah

Medium:
- Viper

Heavy:
- Cauldron Born

Assault:
- Executioner!

Clan Wave III (announced 19/feb/2015 in Town Hall with Russ)

- Light: Arctic Cheetah/Hankyu
- Medium: Shadow Cat
- Heavy: Ebon Jaguar/Cauldron Born
- Assault: Executioner/Gladiator

I'm very excited with this pack! (but still hoping the throw the Viper as a reinforcement or reward)
