I'm kinda thinking this is a generic-rigged model for the Jester and K2, like a tester-model.

The original K2's actually had 6E + 2B. Notably, they were then trimmed of two energy hardpoints months later.

I still don't think they would inflate the K2 back to early closed beta levels. If they did, does that mean other Catapults gain 2 hardpoints also? Can't just inflate one model (unless the other get stronger quirks to compensate). Not that I would complain.

I'm pretty sure that is just a test model.

While it is almost certainly a test model, if they are to release the Butterbee as the new CPLT Hero, they sort of need to add 2 hardpoints to the others, don't they? Since BB has 8?

Plus, let's be honest....6 has always been too dang low. Especially when you either have to give up one for TAG, or can't carry it at all, on the missile guys.

Well, if they were going to implement hard point inflation on the Catapult, this would be the time to do it.

Speaking of TAG, how many Cat drivers would have LOVED to have a head energy hard point for TAG? I mean, how was that not a thing? Lol . Even in BT lore, you would have thought a mech like the Catapult C1/C4/A1 would have had that. Crazy.

Well TAG does essentially nothing for LRMs in TT. but it would have made sense on the arrow IV models.

The beak is the worst part, can't they just make it a new mech and leave us who are happy with the current CAT alone

Founders beak that will probably stay Founders. It is most likely just shown here to demonstrate how it will interact with the CT energy hard points.

BTW, the beak does look good on the C1(F) when it is the same color as the chassis and not just a black add-on to an olive green colored mech like the test model shown in this thread.

The beak is jsut showing the total geometry including founders. 99% certainty the cplt won't have it.

I did the assignment tables for all the Macross Unseen when the rumors of their return started. OK, I didn't include them to the "official table", but you can see this image in the OP, right after that table.

Are you planning to merge the tables at all?

You don't have to, by any means. As you pointed out (and I failed to ), they're right there in a supplementary table.

I ask only because I like the way the big table has everything in one spot. I just think it'd be neat.

That said, I'm allergic to creating inefficiencies by way of adding tedious busywork to anyone's life.

When it stops being fun, it's not a good hobby anymore. But if it's fun and interesting (or seems worthwhile) at some point ...
