The special camo -.- lol
Maybe a diamond shark? Major ally of the Nova Cats. Really odd decision for camo on it, though, but damned if it doesn't look good. I might even keep it instead of changing it to Snowfall - though with a color swap.
Man. So god damned happy we get this beauty. #TeamHuntsman !

I was thrilled for you guys lol, looks nice I will end up getting it probably all but the (S) just don't need it kinda deal.
Guessing Linebacker is next with good chance of it being Wolf hero based. ect.
I can't wait for my Mech still but sure it will be worth the wait!
Congrats again and glad I was right about a Nova Cat hero and not a Smoke jJg!

Yeah, I'm pretty certain we're looking at a Linebacker for the next heavy, as well. After that, I'd like to see the Fire Falcon, because we really are overdue for a light mech and I suspect the Fire Moth isn't happening any time soon. Would eventually like to see the Pouncer, as well, as that is the last medium mech that I think the Clans could really use - that doesn't involve golden century relics that will be good or bad entirely on PGI invented variants.
Also, let us all take a moment to marvel at the design of it.
Rail thin side on, meaning it will probably be rather tall for a 50-tonner. The fin is totally shielded by the side torsos which have cockpit level mounts. Side on, the lower arms should totally cover the center torso, as well. As to the durability of those side torsos, front on it looks like it might be better than the Hunchback IIC, but side on it might be a crapshoot. The arms being mounted as they are, it could be a 50/50 chance of either taking an intended side torso hit.
Undeniably MEAN looking, though. God damn. I am in love. Also, months back on twitter, I asked Alex if he would design a Huntsman with Digitigrade or Plantigrade feet, as the art is a bit ambiguous. He said plantigrade, most likely. I am so, so glad he changed his mind. Digitigrade legs means it should fit in with its bigger brother, the Nova Cat (eventually) and not be too dissimilar to the Shadow Cat's reverse knee setup.
Plus, it is an uncommon and extremely cool leg setup for a mech.

Fairly optimal (250) engine.
6-7xLRM would likely be doable, as well as lots of other options, and looks pretty damn good to boot.

This is HAG40 (A, B, C) / HAG30 (A, B, C) / C-Gauss Rifle / HAG20 (AB, C) / C-AP Gauss Rifle
Which HAGs look best? A, B or C?
(or is it a mix?)

About the HAGs 40/30, it's hard to decide between the Bs and Cs. All are great.
I preferred the HAG 20 A.

Nice the Clan Nova Cat is building up a distinct look.
This design has a lot of the Nova Cat mech. It's like the Night Gyr and the Huntsman had a child.

I'm more of a fan of HAG/40 ( B ), HAG/30 ( B ) and HAG/20 (A)

Something I bet isn't unintentional- similar modeling likely streamlines building new 'Mechs later. I can easily see the shoulder missile mounts on Crusaders later, for example.

...I'd like to think I at least influenced his decision to make it digitigrade.
