All of my yes.

Unfortunately, it has one endosteel crit in the CT, as well.

Huh? Looked like 1 endo in head, 6 endo + 1 ferro LT, 6 ferro RT.

Is that the buggy MechFactory loadout again? If so, MASC-for-armor trade is easy-peasy.

Sweet. IMGUR is working again. Here's the breakdown of the Prime:

Hmmmmmmmmm ...

Falcon, Hermes (the small one), and Javelin all seem like they could be a thing at 30t as well.

I'd vote Javelin for missile spam. Then again, I think a Mist Lynx with 3xSRM4 is fun, so take that with a grain of salt.

Looks fun :)

Also seems like it needs PGI to introduce moar support tek in order for it to really come into its own as a chassis (TC, PPC capacitor)

Okay, yeah. I see what you mean about the difference in the loadout. That's a fairly significant difference in critslot distribution.

Thanks for that :)

Actually, the game already comes with the necessary functionality. Cryengine was released with Crysis. Crysis is a FPS. Quadrupeds can sidestep. Standard WSAD movement shooters allow your player to move forward, backward, or strafe, all at the same time. Simply limit the vertical torso twist pitch, turn the mouse torso twist into mech yaw (again, just like in an FPS), and turn the leg rotation keys into the sidestep commands. Done.

I mean, if anything, it's just a relatively slight modification of the original code in the game engine. At least compared to the insanity they must have done to get legs with a turret torso mechanic to work in engine.
It SHOULD have that functionality.
But what they created is... different.
It's a heavy modification, they've stated before that they've basically done weird things with the code, and thanks to some coders leaving, that did key parts, and didn't leave notes, there's certain things they simply can't do without remaking it from the ground up (why we don't have multiple ammo types for example).

And just like the locust, one can expect similar loadout choices. 5 SPlas and 1 ERSLas would be one config that works. A couple SRM launchers and small lasers would work. ECM and 4 lasers works. I still think it would be a hilariously fun ride.

Well I imagine Locust Jocks will rock in a Fire Moth... Me though, I want this:

I'd so pilot it....

Almost as fast, no MASC and a Battlemech to boot...

But horribly flawed. OK, yes, you could downtune the engine, but as it is it has nowhere near the appropriate amount of ammunition to feed it. Even if you stripped all the lasers out. I mean, it's cool in theory, but I'm not sold on it.

Edit: Armor converted to ferro from standard then maxed out, lasers removed. Only enough room for 3 tons of ammo. For 8 MG. O_o

Woops! Even less ammo for those gats! I suppose you could sacrifice the arm armor and remove two guns. You might be able to scrape another ton of ammo out of that....

You're thinking of those MGs like other ballistic weapons in terms of time fired and ammo spent.

Not so. It's just going to wait until there's an open internal section it wants to crack.

Then, BRRRRTTTTTT.

So what are you doing for the first 1/3 of the game? :P

I'd kinda like to know if PGI's even open to the double-light pack idea.

I routinely see forumites and redditors mention it, but I don't recall anyone from PGI ever even addressing the idea.

I've been wondering how they're going to introduce lights from here on out, given the way they've worked the standalone packs.

If they actually ran with thendouble-light idea on the Stinger and Wasp, how would we get the Valkyrie into a double?

What if we found another 30-tonner, and did 2 packages? Each would have an IS 30-tonner and an IS 20-tonner. Any good IS 30t candidates for that?

I'm not convinced yet they'd be down for double the dev cost on a less-popular pack at similar pricing (albeit with more add-ons because 2x heroes/reinforcements). I'd love to get an official comment one way or the other. Maybe I'll go fishing on Twitter.

Wasp + Javelin
Stinger + Valkyrie
= sucess

You don't need to kill every single enemy. Destroy 2 of the enemy light mechs (in a few seconds) and act as scout for the rest of the match.

I think the Piranha would be absolutely OP in MWO.

And the size. Have you tried to hit a Locust after the last patch?

Nope, but people have been trying to hit me.... not very well I might add. Seems like my Locusts will hit a positive KDR if this keeps up.

Sooo I was playing with some "Meta builds" of how the Mk II could be seen in MWO, although the last one I could not get tonnage right, in MWO should be able to mount twin UAC20's and 4 SRM's sooo....

Spoiler

Thoughts?

What do you guys think would be good hard point inflation?

MCMK-II-1: 4 Ballistic, 4 Energy, 2 Missile
MCMK-II-2: 2 Ballistic, 6 Energy 4 Missile
MCMK-II-4: 4 Energy 4 Missile
MCMK-II-6: 8 Energy

??? Does it need it??? I would love 1 variant at least with 4 ballistic!
