well, the actual TT Catapult did only have 8 shots per launcher.......

He could fire it without overheating after the first two shot. My point stand. :P

Ground up to elite on 3 of mine. Surprisingly deadly when jumping around the side of a mountain.
CUAC10, 4mL.

surprisingly less so when encountering a TW-S doing the same thing in your face, sadly. ;)

Still funny when you get behind one with a cUAC 20, land the double tap in it's back, only to find out they stripped the back armour and they all but die from that!

Summoner with 5 jets should be significantly better at jumping then a Timberwolf with one or two. They really should add death from above and bring back jump sniping. Make a reason to have more jump jets.

Or you know, make the JJ's work like in TT where they make you move up to 30m per JJ mounted. Like press jump and left should move a Summoner up to 150m to the left.

Jump sniping is fine where it's at. If you got the skill, and enough JJ, you can still do it. But it's not so easy as to encourage people bouncing around like pogosticks.

Last dang thing MWO needs the Return of the poptarts.

please do. Then show me how, short of not getting noticed, anyone actually does well with the 4 LPL. I run it, and you get in a brawl, you get wrecked.

Or try then sniper hawk, 4 cERLL + TC Mk V or better + as many DHS as you can cram in, and add range mods as needed + Advanced Zoom...

HIT ALL THE THINGS!

That's more less how you run it... Stand next to a Dire Wolf / Timber Wolf and enjoy as they focus on the 'real' threats

It almost plays like a morbidly obese medium in some ways. It's more of a mech that prefers to stay at arm's length away from the red team and lay out damage when people poke their heads out. It plays like a more heat efficient version of Laser Vomit, with a greater emphasis on steady damage over time (even on hotter maps) over large alpha damage (like the TBR and other hotter builds). It's not going to act like a typical assault that tries to facetank and punch all the things.

Though, IIRC, you aren't a particular fan of laser vomitting (i.e. I remember that you don't like the Sparky Griffin that much, etc.)? That might explain the discrepancy here.

It's not a full-out meta robot/loadout by any means, but it has its uses and it can perform well provided that it doesn't get rushed by specialized brawlers who aren't damaged ahead of time.

Clan lasers are so heat inefficient that I find a 2 LPL, 3 SRM6 build to be decent even compared to a timbergod. The summoner is slightly faster than a timber.

Until your target is below you and watch your lasers hit the ground infront of you...

That's a better build than people give it credit for.

4x CLPL is like 6x IS LLAS with better range, for 6 less tons. ;)

The main thing keeping it back is non-Stalker like high weapon mounts.

Outside of that though, you can corner peek like a champ for 26 points of damage at the cost of only 20 heat all the way out to 660m optimal range.

The Warhawk can't brawl, really. Not well anyways, low (for assault) tonnage and huuuuuuuge side torsos mean you need to keep distance and utilize your range and heat efficiency.

Up close, Warhawk's find themselves torn apart very quickly.

4 LPL is effective, so long as you avoid Ghost Heat and keep some range. ERLL's as well, if you're on a map where the range advantage does you any good at all.

2LPL or ERPPC and a Gauss Rifle is very effective too.

But most importantly you never want to be close. There's always someone who will go off about their brawling Warhawk, with SRM's and a big ballistic, but realistically that's just not effective unless your opponents aren't. The Timberwolf is a far more effective brawler, but the Warhawk with its extra tonnage is a more effective ranged striker.

Only when the Warhawk-C is released is when I'll consider it. Unless, you're willing to gift me a Masakari pack? (I know, fat chance @ that. :P)

If you can suffer through Lolcusts and Mist Stynxes, Wubhawks should be a piece of cake. ;)
