I think we caught most of them. Strange thing is that you haven't gotten many likes despite your hard work.

sorry, missed that about the clint, added it. I assume that if it is in the 3039 TRO that it should be on the list.

Edit: Noticed that someone else pointed out the Hermes was only in comguard service, the 3S, 3S1, and 3S2 were all shiny new production in the 3040's, so while I can't attest to whether or not all the old ones were in comguard service, there were certainly new ones in production in this era.

you are correct, I took them at their word, but it does appear that it resumed production shortly after the succession wars, I will add it back in

There's actually quite a few in the IS, they're just all with the Com Guard, so they still don't belong on the list. A (very) short excerpt from TRO 3050 for your reading pleasure.
Though not in service with the Successor States or mercenaries, the Mercury is common in the Com Guards, especially with The Grace of Thought IV-xi and Straight Words IV-epsilon. (TRO 3050 pg 56)

sigh... I wish that more stuff like that was in the wiki... I'm finding that a lot of the sarna entries are NOT specific about dates and are missing a lot of detail.

I have tried to make notes representing this on those mechs, in this case though, it lists it as "all but extinct" (com guards don't count, since we wont have access to them), so I didn't include it on the list.

But since they allow variants its moot - so I suspect they will grab something with
strong lore linkage.
Zeus or Victor.
I cant see Cyclops since they cant really represent the lore-based Command functions it had.
As a mech its loadout wasnt the most inspiring, and it was rare since they were high priority
targets as command and control units.

only one variant is available in this timeframe, and it was all buy wiped out in the succession wars, only comguard are likely to have it.

this is a list of all mechs and variants that exist in the Inner Sphere of the battletech universe and aren't extinct at the time the game is set in (3049)

More or less 500 different mechs, some are past 3049, but still.

some are also clan, or extinct. the point of my list was to find all mechs that could be in the game, and to filter out extinct, not yet created, or clan mechs and variants

The original Battletech boxed set mechs are a who's-who of well designed mechs.
Phoenix Hawk, Shadow Hawk, Griffin, Crusader, Archer and Battlemaster being my favourites.
I'm sure Most of the others have serious fans, especially the Warhammer and Marauder.
If my memory serves me correctly, most of the mechs we have at the moment are from Citytech.
Personally, i think PGI should come up with their own designs for the unseens, sufficiently different from the anime versions to prevent a lawyer from salivating.
Also i am personally finding people's repetitive devoted prostration before the might of the clan mechs increasingly tedious.
I raved over the 'Vulture' and 'Madcat' when they arrived, but after a while found the third and fourth Succession War campaigns were more balanced, even if the variety of weapons had been shown to be wanting by a single TRO.
Please PGI, make the unseens, even if you have to make them your way.
I liked how the Shadow Hawk looked, a lot, but preferred how it handled.
There's a big hole in Battletech and, by extension, MWO.
You have the shovel now. Fill it.
