Marik has been honest with you, you all know MS is not working with Marik Command. What happend there was never our Intention.
Instead of that, multiple Units of Marik were sent to you Guys to help you against Clanners.
And what are you doing ? When Clan Planets are at 100% and ready to flip - you abandon the Fight to attack other IS Factions as soon as Clanners show up...
You decide to not join the IS in their fight against the Clans. You don't want to be a Part of the nSL. Fits in the Picture that you never really wanted any Progress on the Clan Border.
You betrayed the Faction that was there to help you. You betrayed the IS. You are Traitors to the IS.
Some of you Guys are okey yet most of you seem to suffer from hubris.
You want to fight another Front instead of dealing with the real Threats ?
Poor Dragon. Or should I say fat Snake ?

Now that CSJ lost many mercs you can finally see that we are indeed pushing back.

The ones attacking Quentin yesterday were not MS, though. And in any case, because nobody has answered that question yet: What was the intention and was there ever any more than wishful thinking to support it?

Do you mean in defense? Or do you still put any faith in that "wormhole" thing?

Errr... Kurita, Steiner and FRR are fighting against the Clans, by necessity. Marik, on the other hand, has so far exclusively been feeding on the territory of its IS neighbours, and rather successfully so. It does not look to me like they put the majority of their power to work stopping the Clans.
So in my opinion it's a bit rich for Marik, who has been happily gobbling up the territory of their IS neighbours, to tell said neighbours to go focus on the Clans.

I'll assume this is just part of the big misunderstanding MS has caused for everyone down here. But now that they're back up in Ghost Bear (so they can get the most games possible) I'm not sure how much more patience Marik is going to have with you guys constantly thinking we're some sort of evil masterminds.
Trust me, Roadbeer, the rest, and I aren't that machiavellian.

I'm actually kind of shocked anyone thought it was anything other than MS grabbing some cash on their way back to clan propeller bear

Well, they didn't have MS tags. They had TVL(?) and some other tags. So pardon me for thinking it was not MS.

Pretty sure none of us are saying that, Dervish. In fact high command and numerous others have explicitly stated that they wish to continue the alliance with Marik and have nothing but respect for our relations so far.
There is no need for either side to start getting fractious with the other. MS has left - Kurita will take back it's planets not because it doesn't trust Marik but in case another merc corps decides to do the same as MS did. The experiment has been undone by PGI's mechanics, no more. Perhaps PuGs not in comms have seen the MS push and are now continuing the fight in the mistaken belief that it is best for Marik - I am sure that when encountering these groups and Kurita unit will supply Marik command with the unit tags so that information can be disseminated appropriately.
We're allies. No need to either side to be slinging mud.

But regarding the closure of the wormhole there is need for action which takes ressources of kurita that could have gone to the clan front. So i think the decision to refuse to partake in the Star League at this moment was the right one.
Also you have to consider that i for my part, and im surely not the only one, take it as correct to take Davion worlds while it is possible since they were first to take ours in the beginning of CW when we were busy fighting off the clans. Its not simply revenge but more of a safety buffer for the future when Davion gets strong again and we have our ressources mainly at the clan front.
To be honest you can say that atm there is only littel ressources needed to take Davion worlds.
The other ressources that are not going to the clan front are wasted for closing the wormnhole. Those could be freed up for the clan front the faster the better Marik gets controul over their forces and especially their mercs.
I see real danger that our two noble houses will engage in a conflict only because of those mercs. For the better of both we shouldn´t let that happen.

It seems to me you are not really aware about what Marik is doing and has done since CW started. And with that I don't mean MS.
We switched to your Faction to fight for you because we have been told the Goal would be to attack Clans.
About the Attacks on Quentin : If there have been other Units besides MS attacking you - please inform Marik HQ about that.
And yes, Kurita is fighting Clans until Clans show up. Then you switch to attack Davion. You use many of your attack Options, yet sadly not the ones you need to at the Time you need to.
About the real Goals of the Wormhole - well there are a lot of Options to use it, yet I am 100% sure we are not using them against Kurita.
What Trolls and Rogue Units do is another Thing - Communication between Kurita and Marik had worked so far - yet I get the Impression you Kuritans work FOR the Clans and not against them. If you work AGAINST Clans, then please work together with the rest of the IS - join the nSL, agree to the Ceasefires and prove your Words to be true.
