I can open the game. Trying to pilot my new ebon jaguar and I can enter a match go through loading screen etc. but I can't connect to the game I keep getting booted to the mech lab. rebooted the pc, modem, router, applied all the repair fixes patch everything. been happening to me all day. all I want is to pilot my Jag =( (my very expensive clan pack jag might I add)

Game is simply closing whena match starts to load in no errors just simply closes i had the missing file error got that fixed so it actualy starts but then this. Ne Suggestions?

Oh what FUN!!! Here we go again!!! 1.4GB patch downloading at less than 500Kb/s (yes that's kiloBITs). And I patch LAST WEEK!!!! 1.4GB??? WTH?

And yet I can download anything I want from anywhere in the world at over 30Mb/s.

Download WoWS? Sure, that took about 10 minutes. Download a 600MB iso image from my work servers in Cambridge, UK (I'm in Maryland), yeah, that was about 4 minutes.

Download 4MB of a 1.4GB patch? That's over one minute. Nothing like 2+ HOURS predicted to finish downloading this 'patch'

Ugh, getting a tad frustrated. Main patch, caused some minor issues. Patcher screen all glitched up, if I click the very top of it twice, or wait about 8 minutes, I get a popup that allows me to chose 1 of 3 things, one being to proceed. Patcher screen then shows up, and I start the patching process... about 1440 mb into the patch, it stops... all 19 times I tried. Oh, and it was stopping after most files too, adding a popup that asked if I wanted to retry... grrrrr. Finally after 2 days of failure with that, I ran the repair tool... with similar results. Popup connection failure screen, retry... retry... retry...After the objects.pak or so, it would then give me a server exception error, and TERMINATE the repair process. grrrrrr. So I finally give up, uninstall and delete the game and folders. Go to the website, and click the link for the nice little 60mb installer download... and every time it stops at 93% and does nothing. Checked firewall/antivirus... its good and set to allow MWO. No warnings issued. Did ipconfig resets, no luck there. Rebooted several times, no luck there. Any suggestions????

Further info.... finally got the installer to finish, only to get a message saying the file was corrupt. Tried again, and after about 9 more tries, got it to finish once more (and yes I deleted the previous download attempt) and this time it tells me that it is not a WIN32 application... wtf???

So I am currently without MWO, and losing my premium time. GRrrrrrr.

After latest patch, evrything was working fine, then, bang!!!! I could no longer get into any match. Searching was like usual, finding a match, then the loading starts. It just keeps on loading and loading. I supose when match is finished after 10 minutes or so, I go back straight to mechlab. Never got into game!
I just stared at the loading screen forever! Read all the tips that flashed by, but hey, never got into the fight!

I skipped two months because of lot of work and just realized there are some new patch to install. Of course the patches cannot be downloaded without errors so I used my laptop to download the patches then copied all files to the gaming computer. I start MWO launcher then click Play. After the client started it tells me run the patcher since new updates available.

After months of developing from a well-working (or at least it worked somehow) patching algorythm we finally arrived to a patcher which cannot download updates and a client which detects that updates available which cannot be downloaded since the patcher tolds that the game is up to date. (the computer is fine, other games works fine, Visual Studio works fine)

I suggested that months ago please fire the people who are coding the patching system, or hire someone who might know how to create a patching algorythm which works.

I just want to play to have fun, instead of downloading again and again then copying then checking then downloading then reinstalling. I really like the Battletech universe, but I'm very close to drop the whole game to the trash after 3 years.

It happens to me too, frequently...Mostly it happens in case of one of the files are corrupted, but it might happens in case of everything is fine. This bug appeared approx. 5 months ago, after one of the patches. No workaround found, just close it with the Task Manager and try to rejoin.

I am not sure but since i installed last AMD WQHL drivers mwo get hard crash ( insta rebooting ) totally random but appear after one minute in forest colony testing ground mode.... when i have a match in forest colony map the game crash often or not but totally random like in others map ...

Someone else have this issue maybe ?

Edit: In fact it was a bios problem .. bad setting make my cpu or MB chip overheat.

hi

when trying to download the patch there are 2 points that are bugging me
1: its takes too long to download it takes a half hour or even an hour to download even though i have super good network and a real quick download speed.
2: when ever the download is finnished i get a error message saying "The downloaded file is corrupt. The MD5 hash of the local fire doesn't match that of the file on the server. Would you like to retry?"
im tired of this i even did an dns flush but didnt help im tired of continually waiting till the patch is downloaded (downloading Install Base).

if some one knows a fix please reply thanks. i also want to know if there are more people having the same problem

Patch stops downloading at 1450,35MB.... After a time the Window closes. Tried again and nothing happens, counter holding at 1450,35MB Patch 1/5

I am also having the same issue, where you try to start a match, then it stays in the loading screen until you get kicked off the game server and sent back to the mechlab.

I already ran the Repair Tool and didn't fix anything. PGI, FIX ASAP

You can't.

Downloading the last 3 patches. Sitting here for the last 20+ minutes at .95MB/10.31MB ETA keeps climbing. Sitting at 4.5 hours now.

Ha and I just got a little pop up window that said there was an error connecting. So I canceled instead of retrying. Now it's zipping away on the rest of the patches with 2 left. ETA less then 2 minutes.

I can't even start downloading the game. I keep getting "download install base" for a few minutes then the patches crashes. I have tried restarting, and flushing my DNS several times to no avail.

Same for me, started downloading patch, had to free up HDD space, next thing I know the patcher is installing the entire game all over again...

Figured I'd try the repair tool.

After installing the 20 october patch when i hit play nothing happens. It doesn't load the mwoclient. I have the windows task manager running and the patcher drops but the mwoclient dosn't load, How can I get the game to run, I am running windows 10, 32 gig ram.

Pretty much the same thing happening to me. I hit play, and a blank window opens briefly (less than a second) then closes again. Windows 7 here though

Same thing for me. Worked just fine before the patch, now I click play and nothing happens.
