Look. We're going to get a map reset long before anything huge or significant happens. Let Kurita and Marik have a brutal grudge **** and lets get this out and done with. Otherwise the map reset is going to happen and there's going to be all this violent ********** going on and it's going to make it all awkward.

You've got more bloodlust to see it happen than any marik or kuritan poster I've seen.

Practically anybody would benefit from having you guys around. PHL has been a major and thoroughly appreciated asset for Kurita. If you do decide to leave, we hope you'll be back around some time.

Man, if you guys want to duke it out that's fine, let's just be civilized about it. CGB will reach terra in a week or two, understand that, but then we will get a reset most likely and start fresh.

I just don't want any finger pointing at the end. If Marik wants to go to war, they are agreeing to lose Terra to the clans, and that is fine, I don't really care, it is all a game. It will not be HK's fault, so I don't want to hear that ****.

We shifted off of the Clan front originally because we did not have the numbers to succeed on the Clan borders. We got merc help and didn't shift our attention to the Clan front. What I heard when I asked HK leadership why we weren't shifting over to the Clan border, they said that it was because we had mercs taking care of the Clan front. Personally I wanted to fight Clans, but it wasn't my call. So we kept fighting Davion until others started to get bored and we started thinking about going up to the clans, then the MS thing happened and we had some tough matches. Won some, lost some, and the losses stung because we weren't accustomed to losing. At that point we decided that we needed to close the wormhole to prevent Marik from covering the bottom left corner of HK in purple before turning all of our attention to the Clans. It wasn't an "F u" to Marik, it was just a liability that we were not comfortable with. Then, we get Marik trying to attack us and the forums erupt in a shitposting war and hatred brews on both sides now everyone wants to kill each other. ITS NO WONDER THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY WARS ON EARTH!

So really, it is unfortunate Marik could not wait a little bit longer for us to shift up to the Clans, then we could have worked together, with elements of Marik and Davion on defense and HK throwing all of our 12 mans on offense against CGB (who has gotten extremely strong lately) and CSJ. That was my hope originally, but the attitudes from Marik and Davion that HK was running from the Clans because they were too hard and that we should do what they tell us to do or else be met with shadowed threats have really alienated a lot of HK, whereas the forum trolling on our part (don't consider myself a troll, but you know what I mean) has alienated elements of Marik and Davion. I find the RP trolling lighthearted and funny, but others don't see it the same way, so what can ya do?

So anyway, my hope was that might shed some light on how a section of HK has viewed the whole situation, to better detail why we have done things the way we did and the view from a HK soldier. Notice that no where are we worried about our borders bulking up or Marik's talks of going to war with us. The elements of Kurita that want to not fight Marik and Davion just want to shift to the clans, so we can play CW and defend the IS from the Clans. IF Marik decides they do want to duke it out, that's fine, we can wait until after the CW map reset to fight more Clans, or whoever wants to fight us I guess.

The fun thing here is Davion isn't playing possum- they're trading worlds with Marik at this point and even took Ronel recently from the Combine.

So it's not like they're helpless. Just saying so.

The breeding of your problems is the same one that has vexed you since the 3020s. Federated Suns. Lyran Commonwealth. You know, those two Houses that married into each other and then ate a hole through each of you to be together?

Exterminate them. Then turn your face to the Clans and the sane, competent leaders of the Inner Sphere can fight and win.

But Kurita - tbh, those NVKA dudes and sheer amount of vomit-posts have pissed our regular grunts off more than any of the political bullshit that has been going on. And because of that, the majority of the faction wants to kick the living **** out of you at all costs. Bear in mind, since the early days of MWO, Monday Marik Madness has allowed the vast majority of Marik pilots to get to know one and other across-unit for about 2 years now. So word travels fast.

Lucky for you, we know how to follow orders, and stand down if told.

But don't claim that all of Marik part of some Master Plan. The average rank and file only starting hating you when some bad elements in your faction **** enough bad will to drown you in it. Like it or not, that's the current situation. And you will have to deal with.
