I'm saddened only by the fact that it's not squat.

It's more akin to these models, which have torso twist. I had hoped for at least more squat leg positioning to kinda crunch down a little bit. But maybe someday we'll have a crouch function.

Still, short of it having a pelvis, (bit of a purist myself), it looks good.

I'm still sad by how tall the Nova is.

Kinda comes with adding pelvises to these mechs.
Catapult is hugely tall too, for much the same reason. As is the Locust and Jenner. All are no-pelvis (and thus no torso twist) mechs.

Kitfox and Adder are also taller because of this.

This time PGI over reached, no art design for half of the mechs, although I'm kinda sure that they'll be great, the cauldron born looks as tall as a TBR. This added to no masc specifications. No money for you, bad dog.

(Not always rounded up, but typically.)

The rounding is caused by the conversion from walking/running hexes to kph.

It doesn't have the tonnage for that. Only 28.5 tons. 45 rounds isn't enough for a single Gauss in CW; let alone two.


It's the Night Gyr that would do that; 37.5 tons of weapons on a 75 tonner. 3052, very soon.

This is why I'm still umming and arring about getting it now so I get the extra value of the extra mechs to cover the missing paint I already have...

That's the mech I'm looking forward to the most. A clan heavy that doesn't have a huge XL engine and can mount a freaking arsenal. Oh and JUMP JETS.

I'll pay whatever they want, if I can have the Prime + all of A through D.

I ordered. ...but what about a Jenner 2C? Clanmechs wich follow IS mech rules?

The Clan mechs that are especially shiny with the Jade Falcon skin all do this. Another good example is the King Crab (L) version.

Btw, to PGI: Thank you, thank you, thank you for the Cauldron Born. One thing, though, is the CT offset? I can't tell from the concept art. Also, if you could see your way to including the Blood Asp and Kraken 3, I would be very pleased. Because, let's the honest, in all of our dark little hearts there's a special place that makes us want to block out the sun with LRMs.

Just a reminder to those still deciding on the packs.

The packs drop in value once 28 Feb (PGI time) is past.

Of cause if you're really tight on cash i suggest you really think long and hard. You can always get them for cbills and save some cash for mechbays instead.

OK, bought my Gladiator.

You guys from the first world have in mind that this US$ 120 Gladiator Pack cost in my country the equivalent of your US$ 500 Gold Khan Pack.

That means yes, I love Battletech/Mechwarrior and I think PGI is doing a great job with MWO. (and yes, as a gamer I won't spend more in games for some long months)

Besides, the concept art of the Executioner and now the Cauldron-Born are ridiculously gorgeous.
