Including one who - when told the phrase "I am sorry if I offended you - nothing I said was meant that way"
Accuses you of being a troll.
After a while - there is nothing you can do - but report them, put them on your ignore list, and hope they are stupid enough to treat enough other people that way that PGI does something about it.
Or they become intelligent enough to either go away - or realize the phrase
"I am sorry" is an apology - not - as they insist - trolling
But then - they would not be TROLLS if they could do that.
Would they.

I have no interest in keeping this up, accept that I accepted your apology and said that I was sorry for missing it and leave me alone. Or keep going, more material is more material.

This is my final offer for peace, take it or leave it, but if you keep going with this stuff, I can immediately post the complete conversation archive so everyone can see how good your apologies are.

Sorry, was not my intention, but I will not stand idly by while being insulted as if there was no reaction to it and if it was ok. But you are right, mea culpa.

people have a right to know whom they are so they don't get away with it as the one I ran across was proud of how many he killed and the fact that he was on a different account after his other one was removed.
if anything I think if people have screen shots they should just start a off site forum to handle this type of thing if pgi is refusing to allow people to know whom these proud TKers are and protect them then others should.
I know the forum rules, however they only stated you cannot post them on 'This site and no rules about people doing it off site nor suggesting it or telling people about that site.
But screen shots are a must to prove it first.

Fkn brilliant ...
I think this is to prevent libel, or at least the viability of any accusations whatsoever thereof. That is to say, if it is against the rules to name people with the intent of defamation/angry-posting, said people getting named don't have an opportunity to raise a stink about getting named. There is a lot to be said for dealing with this sort of thing quietly and efficiently, and it is my sincere hope that an automated system, perhaps similar to Planetside's, will be put in place to manage the incidences of this to a degree.

You haven't heard? You're allowed to troll all you like, in-game and on-forum, as long as you claim you're Role-Playing.
I, uh, do RP from time to time...

I like to think the difference between RP'd hatred and RL douchebaggery is fairly clear, though just in case it isn't, I suppose you could always ask if they're saying that "in character" or "out of character."

I guess the idea is to register a new account asap after the old one is banned, jump into trial mechs and be a douche all the time. Even if PGI bans his account, he can be back in a few minutes, as they do not personally review the account creation. Even if they blocked his/her IP and he is logged in via proxy, nothing would happen. So mb that is the problem, such people are nasty and hard to get rid off and tend to be very creative, so if he is tech savvy I guess he can be a real pain in the hole.

I don't think it will make that much of a difference altogether, MWO is the only real 'Mech game left, therefore afficionados will put up with a huge degree of bull, before raising the white flag. I mean, we are still here, right? And if it should get really overboard then they will simply have to devise new tools/procedures to deal with such matters quickly.

Of course there are going to be *******, that's the internet. Report them and then forget about it.
If you can't deal with that you shoud look into playing board games.

and I did check the CoC and from what I gathered there is nothing against what I am talking about as it does not name shame here & protects pgi from any liability.

What liability? It's not like this guy can sue. PGI owns/runs this game, and can ban anyone they want, for any reason they want. There's no legal recourse for any of us if they do that. None. Also, if we were to "name and shame" a known team killer, he can't sue us either. It's not libel, it's not slander, nothing.
They only reason PGI has a CoC is to keep the game as civil as possible, to keep from having a completely toxic atmosphere for new players, where they would walk in, play a game or three, come to the forums and get bashed for being new. Having rules in a game is a good thing, and having a CoC is also a good thing, it should make people WANT to be better than they currently are at playing the game.

you also have a point Cino as well, though you never know with the way the world has become lawsuit happy. its better for pgi to be careful as well.
remember McDonald had a lawsuit against them become some idiot woman who spilled hot coffee on her lap and won.
so pgi isn't stupid so you can also think people like that dimwitted woman for such strict and heavily enforced rules(why else do we see all the names removed as fast as they have been?).

His name is now Buttlord ________. Actually, that's not his name, but that's one of the words in his multiple word name. Because how dare I name and shame trolls. How dare I warn my peers about what alias they're using now. The fact that trolls are protected by the code of conduct is frankly kinda stupid.
Saw him this weekend. Man does he piss me off. Alexander, ban him again please. He's even killing more players now.
