Thanks, appreciated.
Is going to cadets a requirement or a huge advantage? I'm learning to fly outside of the Air Cadets, and likely going to university at Mount Royal to continue my training. I have been planning to do a commercial career, but joining the Air Force has attracted my interest and I want to make sure I'm making the right decisions.
If you can get in, I would say go to the military, as you don't need to pay for your hour building. I have to pay all my flying lessons by my own, and don't have a job when finished. If you can get in any cadet scheme, military or cicilian, go for it, will help you a lot, as it is often cheaper or even paid for and your chances for a job afterwards are better....

I am a retired Radiation Safety Officer and Manager of a Nuclear Medicine Lab. I taught Business, management, research methodology, statistics, and Field data collection at a small university and Physics and nuclear cardiology at a small college.
Aryn Fox - I would suggest the SAIA Review book ('The yellow book'). It comes with a disc and you can practic taking the exam until you are mind drained but you will be ready for the test.
