after reading all this i feel ashamed of my job  but it pays the bills and i love talking to customers

im a Virgin Media Tech support agent (if you dont know what or who virgin is - ISP supplying DSL)

which also goes to say, if your here and have a problem with VM services, maybe i can offer some assistance? :P

also i build/manufacture small gagets, controllers, currently making a mech warrior control pannel, just for weapons fire & pc on/off

Awesome service from you guys! have to say your ISP has improved my online gaming massively, thanks :)

I test Video Games on a day to day basis. That's not my career however, I'm actually a audio composer for Video Games. :)

Thanks, appreciated.

Is going to cadets a requirement or a huge advantage? I'm learning to fly outside of the Air Cadets, and likely going to university at Mount Royal to continue my training. I have been planning to do a commercial career, but joining the Air Force has attracted my interest and I want to make sure I'm making the right decisions.

If you can get in, I would say go to the military, as you don't need to pay for your hour building. I have to pay all my flying lessons by my own, and don't have a job when finished. If you can get in any cadet scheme, military or cicilian, go for it, will help you a lot, as it is often cheaper or even paid for and your chances for a job afterwards are better....

Were you the guy in Hurt Locker? I liked that movie. :D

That movie was an overdone piece of rubbish that does not portray EOD's real mission. No offense. :>

I'd recommend this.

My job is to tell other people how to do their job better, even though I've never done their job.

Radiologic Technologist

Nuclear Medicine
Nuclear Cardiology
Positron Emmision Technologist

Bachelor - Business Administration
Master - Management

PhDc - Higher Education (Research - Student affairs)

I am a retired Radiation Safety Officer and Manager of a Nuclear Medicine Lab. I taught Business, management, research methodology, statistics, and Field data collection at a small university and Physics and nuclear cardiology at a small college.

Aryn Fox - I would suggest the SAIA Review book ('The yellow book'). It comes with a disc and you can practic taking the exam until you are mind drained but you will be ready for the test.

Sorry to hear.

Well, when you have a job, having all the free time starts to look attractive.
Then when you have no job, having all the free time is depressing.

You get used to it after 16 years :D

And yeah, you are right. Some people are jealous, untill you explain how hard it is to fill a day.
Less housekeeping for my FG though. And I can make a mean Chili con carne!!!
