Hitreg is a "feature", it increases TTK.

It serves to make the game closer to TT, simulating all the times you fail to hit on your gunnery rolls.

And as was predicted so it came to pass, the godmechs were target nerfed after all the freepaying scum owned them, and a fresh round of op grabdeal robots were prepared to rule over all for 6 months, until they too would be target nerfed and the cycle begins anew.

lol they've been free for a long time but if this didn't happen for another 4 months folks would have still said the same thing...

You have to wait long enough to fool people into thinking it's just a coincidence.

That is both hilarious and depressing at the same time.

this is funny, PGI just doesnt get it at all, nerf what ever they want all it does is change other weapons and mechs to the new meta, they continue to try bandaids and bandaids with no adhesive at that.

Yes but the new meta will have less gap between best, middle and worst.

Hopefully they dont nerf it so hard that the meta changes, if current meta remains but other options are a fraction away from being just as good then they got it right.

piss off.

I tried to have an actual conversation.

No you didn't, you just like to argue.

With quirks you can make any mech exactly like another:

> armored mech = < armored mech + quirks
> torso twist = < torso twist + quirks
> Acc/Dec = < Acc/Dec + quirks
> Firepower = < Firepower + quirks
> Speed = < Speed + quirks

Quirks can be an effective balancing tool, whether you agree with the way they are implemented or not

At least they are doing it before the next packages come out, so I can get my money back.

Quirks are like government it is never going to get smaller or better. Figure in 6 months we will be giving quirks to quirks.

it only hurts those that cant play anything else than mechs that are
A: overquirked
B: too good from start

it wont hurt good players that much since, well, they dont rely on quirks etc.

My prediction is that the clan mechs get token nerfs and the IS mechs get completely hosed and there will be a lot of whining from both sides on the forum.

Well Well what do you know. After months of putting it off I finally decide to expose myself to the pain of grinding a clan drop deck and they will probably get nerfed badly. I can't go back to my old IS deck either because they are also on the chopping block. I don't play CW much and the Raven 2X and all Stalkers were my favourites long before they got better.

I'm not sure I wan't to give PGI money anymore, but we shall see.

Anyways, I wonder how long it'll take PGI to actually post the quirks? I really want to theorycraft which Gundams will be slapped on the wrist, which ones killed, and which ones will still be viable for "competitive" players but unfun for anybody else. Ze suspense!
