Highly likely. I sincerely hope they get some global nerfs. I feel like the fire starters can ease up on the heat gen quirks. The ravens are fine imo (dem giant legs), but I can see the rationale for wanting them nerfed. Stalker, while I'm not keep on the idea of it being nerfed without seeing something happen to the TBR at the same time, I suppose it was inevitable.

The thing that PGI doesn't understand... is that there will ALWAYS be top tier mech(s).

Quirks just create more problems than solutions.

Only viable? I dunno what game you've been playing. The HBR/WHK are both exceptional mechs and that's before we even talk about the mighty DWF. The Gargoyle also silently became the best 80 tonner with quirks.

Looks like they are trying to bring the top outlier mechs inline with the rest of the mechs in the game. Now if they will just help out the outliers on the other end that are not worth playing.

This is just omni-pod nerfs. I want chassis nerfs. Also, why is there no detail in their announcement, like they said?

I wouldn't worry too much clanners, your mechs will always be superior to IS mechs with the ONLY exception being light mechs...

Also, that new Cataphract looks mediocre...well, more mediocre than expected. Only 5 weapon hardpoints because of its ECM. 4E + 1B...

I want severe nerfs to TBR-A, some buffs to SCR-B, more weapon family/generic quirks for the lights and STK-4N.

SCR should only recieve slight nerfs to either armor, or heat.
TBR should recieve mobility nerfs tbh.

SCR & TBR, the new Victor.

I want to just be the first to say I was cool and used the Badcrow and the Terriblewolf when they were bad, so when they get unnerfed in the future I will be cool again.

We'll have to wait for the actual quirk notes to be posted before we can determine if they got Victor treatment. Could go either way really.
