So then if I ditch one of the prime arms (put on an arm with no duration penalty, like the C) and use an A arm instead (still 4 ERML) then now that's only 9% increase to duration?
None of this makes a whole lot of sense to me, really. The prime arm can take lasers so it receives negative laser quirks? That's like giving the Awesome negative PPC quirks. Wouldn't a 'mech with energy slots do better at using energy weapons? It's all getting a bit nonsensical.
Probably it'd be more intuitive to nerf the Storm Crow and Timer Wolf in other ways like mobility or something.... Change the stock engine (make it smaller) seeing as it's the large engine that gives them the mobility in the first place? How about changing the other clan 'mechs that are bad because they are stuck with small engines or standard structure so that they actually have a better engine or endo-steel?
It's almost as if the very foundation of the way the clan 'mechs are balanced is broken. Fixed engine size, structure and armour type, are they really all based on stock load-outs? Battletech, it's broken. Probably best not to allow the usefulness or otherwise of a clan 'mech to be based on it's stock load-out.
Nerfing beam duration just feels lazy. Lazy, like ghost heat.

Bad things: they did not fix them. STK is nerfed a little (not bad in and of itself, no need to go ballistic in these matters), but Flamestarter still has his god-mode overlapping microscopic hitboxes. As for Clans... Well, I do not know. I do not know how else and how many more times and how loud to tell these people that Clan laser-boating is the direct consequence of NOT HAVING ANYTHING ELSE!!! LRMs are useless right now. UACs spread the damage so wildly I hardly even bother to dodge them. LB-x are even less useful against a target with a single point of armour on it at any range other than point blank (though I may be too general on this one). What are we supposed to do now, jump-stomp them? Just allow cross-tech and let us boat the stone-age IS tech already!

The WHK also has 50% more torso twist with 90 degrees compared to the STK-4N 60 degrees.
Are you conveniently forgetting that the WHK is the size of a dire wolf? And does not have the amazing hit boxes and hard point placement of a stalker? And can only attain 6e hard points when -not- using the C arm.

8/8 omnis should not suffer these penalties.

Is this intentional?

Stakler 4N Missile cooldown is red but it looks like a buff from the previous value. Wrong color? Or did the 4N have a negative quirk before that just got negativer?
In theory +15 means longer reload time.
+12.5 turning to +15 is worse, so more negative.

I've been disgusted for months by TBR meta-builds that totally warp the essence of a TBR (blended armament) into laser meta or DARE I MENTION IT gauss meta (why would u even? ewww...). Hopefully these quirk edits will see an end to the all-laser TBR builds.
Also very glad to see these other mechs were addressed by PGI. I think they made a smart move here, hopefully we can see more diverse dropdecks on the battlefield from this point onward. Thx PGI!!!

Sorry to say that. My IS dropdeck is stronger than my Clan dropdeck...
