Let me put it this way. I'm at work right now and if I google said term and hit "I'm feeling lucky", the resulting web page is blocked by corporate IT for violating our internet usage policy. I think that spells it out pretty clearly that there's a very, very common definition of the term that puts it firmly in the "not ok" camp. That doesn't happen with "ain't".

Not that I'm defending PGI, but kids do play this game and they have an interest in keeping the forum relatively clean.

The slang application of "both of" is less profane than most of what you see on Cartoon Network. Certainly way under what you'll catch on Fox primetime.

My irritation is that it's the product of a specific attempt to heavily moderate one specific group of players because they were teasing another group of especially fragile special-snowflake players.

Bluntly it wasn't blocked because of what go ogling it brings up - it was done as a hit job.

Maybe, but that is PGI's right under the terms of service we all signed. And you have to admit, these individuals really, really enjoy playing the technicality game with authority figures. I think PGi is tired of the game, though.

Now, i personally want to see the folks we're so obliquely discussing back in the game and recently heard an actual rumor they may be planning a comeback (seeing as this IS the rumor thread, after all). I always thought they were fun and entertaining, but if they haven't learned to live within PGI's (admittedly sometimes inconsistently applied) rules, I don't know how long they'll be able to stay. More's the pity.

This thread was NOT moved to K-Town, it was entirely deleted!

Old boy tried to 'name and shame' and as result ran into a couple of issues....

1) PGI doesn't like 'name and shame' threads.
2) The unit they were trying to shame....has none.

I don't think the OP of the tread will make the same mistake again.

Funny thing is due to my accent, I actually say it and always have. So to say it's offensive because some thin-skin somewhere got buttmad I'm not sure if I find it funny or sad.

I mean, really? I had actually had someone get mad because I said it in VOIP one day referring to two Arctic Cheetos I killed. I literally said, "I got bōTHa them cheetos." Some dunce immediately gets on comms and just blasts me for literally the way I talked...
