Update:

MercStar is allegedly taking full responsibility for taking whole swathes of territory in previous phases of Faction Warfare, and assumes all responsibility for all victories it scores against its opponents. It attributes these victories to faults and flaws in enemy pilot design and execution rather than in-game defects.

It is prepared to offer amnesty to opponents who surrender the false notion that their failure to defeat MercStar rests with some flaw in the game's design rather than personal piloting abilities.

President Antonious is preparing a one-hour-long presentation on MercStar's plans for upcoming phases of Faction Warfare, to be unveiled during MechCon immediately after Russ Bullock's presentation on changes due to Faction Warfare.

MercStar kidnapped me for 3 weeks. Their idea was to make me teach them how to play competitive MWO, but they let me go when they realized I use arrow keys instead of AWSD. It took them 20 days to stop laughing and untie me.

MS was always a collection of smaller units banded together to have fun, gather on TS, and just play the game.

Perhaps 4.1 will bring us back together to gather some more planets. Perhaps not.

MercStar was axed this evening. All pilots were brutally decimated by unknown strike teams.

There will be no more MercStar planetary assaults across the Inner Sphere.

We will never see MercStar again in any capacity.
