for having fun?

maps, maps, maps
n some more maps

you know diversity in drops, not dropping on caustic (or fill in any other map) for the 5th time (I know this is not that often, but that memory sticks around the longest)

PGI makes money on selling mechs, so I'm not asking for that anymore

Solaris

betting on Solaris
Tournaments in Solaris

for eye candy that PGI can make money of?

my personal hangar where I can put in my most prized mechs and walk up to them

expandability (for $ of course) of said hangar

a golf cart to drive around in in my way too big Hangar

a trophy Room next to my Hangar, placable cockpit items
an Aquarium in it (hey there SC)
some fish can be bought for C-Bills, some MC and the rare ones won in Tournaments/Solaris
or for Achieving certain goals (like title guillotine)

I can get into a mech (SC style) and walk it out into: -> Testing grounds
this could be expanded with some AI in the maps
hell this could be sold as a campaign DLC

Badges, phrases that I can submit and put on my mech (well for MC I'm sure)

MP3 payer that plays my music that I store in a custom folder, tied to an Equalizer cockpit item
Posted Image

hey there cockpit item that makes use of one empty screen in my mech

custom paint like chrome that is a one shot and applies a C-Bill boost to any mech I want it to

but above all, when you go Steam
for the love of god don't put newbies in the games with vets
they don't learn, most don't want to
and this game got a mean learning curve

best thing you can do is (most likely) to let new players <25 matches be 4vs4 only and <50 8vs8 (or whatever numbers would be ok)

if you keep the old "small" maps (like caustic) around you don't even need new maps

I got creamed nearly instantly in my first dozen matches, until I even figured out how to pilot that mech
and that was 8vs8 and no clan tech

Make MWO more like Battletech, like it was meant to be.

Critical Slot Splitting that would allow, Mech mountable Artillery Weapons (Arrow 4, Sniper, Thumper)

Balanced existing weapons and add more from the timeline. There are lots of available weapons we still don't have. However, balanced existing weapons takes priority.

Soloris Arena

More Mechs would be great. But, the above should take priority.

I like the idea, but using those monitors taxes the systems too much. Which is part of the reason why PGI has done nothing with them yet. In all honesty, I would love to have something like that, and I would love for every screen in there to have something displaying on it, but it will drop even a top of the line machine down to below 30 Fps.

The ability to toggle weapon bay doors in the mech lab so you can see what your mech looks like with them open. If this already exists then I apologise, since I've only messed about with a couple in the lab via the store tab rather than owning one of my own

As Votanin FleshRender (and many others) mentioned, we need a configuration save feature. This has been available since MW2 (IIRC), and would be great have now. I often loathe changing the load-out between my favorite configs. There are many posts about this so I was wondering if the devs or management could build this...if not why? Thank you for your time!

What do you have against that map? It's awesome!

Get rid of them, then. At the moment they are just a persistent reminder of PGI's inability to deliver on its ambitions.

In terms of suggestions:

more maps
we should be able to save CW drop decks and choose from pre-saved decks
ditto saving and selected Mech configs
drop points and gen locations in CW should be randomised

I'm writing to show my concern about the current Mech bay. I really like your game and I've spent hours playing it everyday since launch (I'm even a founder at that). At some point I've stopped playing it due to the lack of content, and recently started to play again and loved all your new contents... except the Mech bay...

Going thru the Mech bay is a huge task by itself. It is really poorly designed. Everything is a mess. I have to go thru so many tabs to just switch from my Clan > light Mech > Adder to my Inner Sphere > heavy Mech > Atlas... Notice how many times I have to click to access a certain Mech? It's even harder to switch if the Mech that I wanted to play doesn't start with A! I need to scroll down and find the Mech that I need...

It would be great if MWO can do something about this. A good example of a similar game that have a much refined menu that works would be World of Tanks Blitz. Instead of categorizing each and every menu, they let us use filters instead. Imagine if I want to play Light and Medium Mechs, I'll just have to click on these filters and all Lights and Mediums would show on my menu. And instead of going thru another Tab just to access my Mech Lab, please make an icon on the Mech bay to access Mech Lab of my currently selected Mech (Pilot Skills should work the same too). Wouldn't that be so much simpler? Please allow us to have an option to place all our favorite Mechs in a single window for easy access too.

Please keep it simple guys. I know you've spent countless of hours in designing this game and it's really a great game! But your current Menu just doesn't work. I think if I am a new player playing this game for the first time, I would be overwhelmed with all the complicated Menu to navigate thru my Mech Lab. I hope my request would be heard and changes will be made.

Collisions, melee options, destructible terrain. Real and more varied mission objectives. (IE: Convoy Escort, Rescue, Base Destruction, etc.), perhaps some PVE where we can play a coop lance vs. AI defenders. Salvage, and the possibility of finding tech we don't normally have access to, so it can be fit on your mech. Day, Night, Fog, Winter modes for each and every map, thereby giving us many more options, so what we currently have at least feels like more.

just though cplt lrms would launch out the top of box, with a high arc, would make more sense and I would get more rockets to my target.

If you fire under 500 meters, your missiles will start to have a very high arc.

I believe this would encourage more mech purchases as well as improve game play.

In general drop (not cw) a four mech drop deck with mechs of the same weight class.

After we see the map, we can pick one of four mechs we set up so we can try and be ready for that map. Hot, cold, short ranged, long. E.G. If I drive shadowhawks, I am going to want to have 4, not just 3, of them for my drop deck. :)

Win Win.

The social aspect of this game can be used better.

Seems like a waste of time to some but how about a "Community" bar and grill chat, where we can go to just shoot the crap, in real time. It can serve the purpose of unit recruiting, and idea bouncing, and maybe every so often a PGI rep can come in to socialize, answer questions or have a virtual beer/wine/soda with us. You can use ad space within the bar for promoting PGI store goods/events etc. Based on all the talk before a drop, you may find this is more popular than you think.

We have Faction chat, where you can communicate with all pilots from your faction, who are online. I'm not saying it doesn't need improving, because lord knows it does. Just saying that we already have it, in one way.

Continuing on the theme of a four mech drop deck in general. This would let PGI expand the skills on every mech. Say if you have four mechs mastered you then can reach an "Expert" level in skills where an additional say 31K xp per mech lets you purchase expert level modules, (enhanced cooling, enhanced jj, added distance, better info, expanded radar, whatever...) This would encourage module sales and give PGI a reason to redo the skill trees.

Instead of three..encourage and reward the need for four of the same mech in a drop deck.
