maps, maps, maps
n some more maps
you know diversity in drops, not dropping on caustic (or fill in any other map) for the 5th time (I know this is not that often, but that memory sticks around the longest)
PGI makes money on selling mechs, so I'm not asking for that anymore
Solaris
betting on Solaris
Tournaments in Solaris
for eye candy that PGI can make money of?
my personal hangar where I can put in my most prized mechs and walk up to them
expandability (for $ of course) of said hangar
a golf cart to drive around in in my way too big Hangar
a trophy Room next to my Hangar, placable cockpit items
an Aquarium in it (hey there SC)
some fish can be bought for C-Bills, some MC and the rare ones won in Tournaments/Solaris
or for Achieving certain goals (like title guillotine)
I can get into a mech (SC style) and walk it out into: -> Testing grounds
this could be expanded with some AI in the maps
hell this could be sold as a campaign DLC
Badges, phrases that I can submit and put on my mech (well for MC I'm sure)
MP3 payer that plays my music that I store in a custom folder, tied to an Equalizer cockpit item

hey there cockpit item that makes use of one empty screen in my mech
custom paint like chrome that is a one shot and applies a C-Bill boost to any mech I want it to
but above all, when you go Steam
for the love of god don't put newbies in the games with vets
they don't learn, most don't want to
and this game got a mean learning curve
best thing you can do is (most likely) to let new players <25 matches be 4vs4 only and <50 8vs8 (or whatever numbers would be ok)
if you keep the old "small" maps (like caustic) around you don't even need new maps
I got creamed nearly instantly in my first dozen matches, until I even figured out how to pilot that mech
and that was 8vs8 and no clan tech
