Heatpenalties for Alpha:
Firing an ammount of damage with lasers at once will generate a nerf. The effect would be that the weapons gain a longer cooldown and while these weapons are in cooldown the heatdicipation is nerfed by some percentage.
Example (Numbers may vary)
20 dmg - +2,5% cooldown - -2,5% heatdicipation
30 dmg - +5% cooldown - -5% heatdicipation
40 dmg - +10% cooldown - -10% heatdicipation
Effect:
-Stops high alphabuilds from bring to effective.
-It doesnt use annother Resource like the energiedrawsystem.

Heat accumulation:
When the heat is to high, at about 85% Lasers have a chance to breakdown even if not fired, equal to jamchance of uac's. This Could be explained that the Lasers have a short circuit die to the heat accumulation. So the Laser have to be rebooted.
Example (Numbers may vary)
Heat reaches 85%
Every Second its above this Level One of the equiped Laser have a chance to breakdown. If One weapons is offline it needs 4 seconds to Reboot.
After the First Laser is offline every Second above the Level annother Laser Can Go offline by small percentage. And so on.
Effect:
- Stops alphabuilds from bring to effective.
- pilots need more skill with energieweapons to be effective.

Last games pilots:
Having a section in your social Window for pilots you recently played with would help to get new pilots to your Unit. Or Just be able to contact these pilots afterwards. Like you had a great Fight with someone you can text him, that it was fun and you will hunt him for revenge.

Increase the current map sizes. More room, longer TTK. Its already there, just expand it.

Large magnetic nodes on TD that screw with radar and missile lock.. They had something like this in MW2.

Considering that they have been slowly replacing all the maps with new version that include time of day and better appearance, you may get this in time.

Maybe it's been mentioned in the 43 pages of posts, but the ability to pause the premium time counter. How many times have I activated 30 days and then real life interferes with my game time and I don't log in for a while - wasted money

Or just to activate in shorter bursts would be fine. 7 days at a time maybe, 3 would be even better, especially for people that don't play much except for weekends. Of course PGI would probably never go less than 7 days at a time or else they would sell a lot less Premium Time.

Well....... I would like some more opposite options.... maybe some maps made for 8 per team max (more like arena or small cave).... This would help switch up the monotony of 12 v 12.... maybe this wont be required since they are implementing the 1v1 mechanic soon. Still, lots of successful online games use different objective games as well as number of players to provide a constantly shifting experience for those who like to change around a bit. Who knows, maybe the "Tier" system can be unique to different game types?!?

I like the fact that a lot of the newer maps have given us larger options. I wish as they redid some of the maps that they would leave the old version in as well when a map makes a significant change in layout like Frozen or Terra did and have both available for play.

A 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, and 8v8 modes would be nice to have, even though PGI may be concerned with splitting the queues up to much. a 8v8v8 mode or eve groups of 4 or 6 would be fun too and play completely different than current game modes for more variety.

Personally think that a lot of the fix for long queue times for Faction could have been fixed by dropping to 8v8 instead of needing 12 players on each side and getting matches filled more easily.

1. Weather that effects line of sight, movement, cool down, weapons default in accuracy

2. New Weapons and systems. NarcII 750, mid range splash missiles, Arrows IV artillery missiles, cluster bombs
Inferno srm. Light gauss, Longtoms, Fuel Air munitions, empl ppc (light damage but shuts down mech for a few seconds at long distances ), enhanced combat hud, advancing target lock, threat assessment computer, suicide mine(pirates and Wow used them in their factions.

3. Pirates Factions, Civil War Factions within Factions,

4. Turret Control when in spectator mode. The new escort using random weapons to make it interesting. New mode "Enemy of my Enemy" where both sides have to deal with A.I. lances that are tough like the escort.

5. More maps with "Rescue Ranger" where your team members must be untapped to engage. NO tapped player can be harmed till untapped. Deep water map, large mazes, caverns with tunnels. Repair bays

Not target locks or anything, but a visual 360 compressed into ~140 degrees

I would like to be able to see the loadouts of my groupmates in the lobby before we drop before each match. Primary concern is not the start screen just before each drop, but rather the group lobby before we search for a drop. This information could be helpful to better coordinate our teams.

Okay, I love many of these Ideas, and the following are what I like:
More weapons! heavy lasers, x pulse, racs, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY NEW ROCKETS in the form of MRMs and ATMs
Falling down from a heavy blast, and advanced gyros to go with it
Better clan tech like in the lore
New clan light mechs! (Firemoth Cougar, Urbie IIC, Locust IIC)
and 2 new mechs specificly, Timber wolf II and Thantos please!


One more thing, FREE FOR ALL GAMEMODE

FW queue tracker.

Allow us to see how many are currently fighting/scouting both in total per side and number searching for a match.

This will allow us to make an informed decision whether we are going to find a match in a reasonable time period, or if we should drop quickplay instead.

Can we get an option to disable/enable hand actuators for battlemechs.. but not removing the hand/lower actuators.. so it would be easy for battlemechs to aim and torso twist with less mouse movement like clan mechs do.. like when you only use an upper actuator on a clan mech with arm lock off and the target reticle moves wherever you want it.. but with arm lock on you need twice the mouse movement to make a 80-90 degrees torso twist than with arm lock off.. just to make battlemechs convenient to use.

I'd like to be able to see the Loadout of my Teammates under or next to their names, older MechWarrior Titles had this and i greatly miss this feature.

1) Loadout save slots per mech
2) Camo load out saves per mech

All of this leads to

3) after map/game type voting and on the ready up screen, the ability to select the appropriate weapons load out and camo load out for your selected mech to be able to adapt to whatever map and game type was voted on by the system and our peers in the lobby.

choose map then chose mech
missile view returning would be nice..
DFA and the look/shoot down view when jumping from mech 4 i believe it was.
