Nerf Machine guns. Machine guns Are way to powerful in MWO. They should be virtualy useless against a mech. Thier one and only purpose in the Battle Tech universe is anti infintry. If you have no plans to add infantry or tanks then machine guns have no point in the game.

Anti Mech machine guns do exist in the game, They are called auto canons. No ballistic weapon smaller then an AC 2 should affect a mech.

On a side note, why do KMDD's not count as kills when computing KDR?

I would very much like to see a user-friendly contacts list with the ability to create custom groups, drop people into them, and to actually be able to see what if any unit tag they are wearing. Sound good?

I'm not sure if this has been brought up in the past, but it seems that the ability to choose your mech based on the map selected should be available. When you think of it, you know which world you are going to when you load your mech in a dropship. You should be able to choose your mech based on the map you are going to fight on. It just makes sense. Plus, I'm getting tired of dropping a brawler on Alpine Peaks or Polar Highlands. The same as it's annoying to drop a lrm boat on Mining Colony or some other small map.

1) An upgraded advanced zoom. Preferably remove picture in picture but if that doesn't work upgrade the pixel quality of the zoom.

2) More and more diverse enemy mechs in the testing grounds. Trying to run headshot calculations in testing grounds right now sucks. You could make them respawn as well.

4) The ability to move around the menus and do things while searching for a game.

(MRMs, ATMs, Arrow IV Thunderbolt, Bigger SRMs like CSSRM 10)
A weapon group that has way to limited choices.

a faction tutorial i just started playing and had to guess/google my way through it and still got it wrong. i didn't know about clan/is mechs and joined is after spending all my starting credits on clan mechs.

ingame unit recruitment chat or somthing similar (i'm a one man unit just so i can be a merc)

in the store arrange/show only clan/is mechs option.

lastly the prices (mc) of everything.
they seem to have made the same mistake alot (A LOT) of free to play games make. they made the prices high on everything so they get one or two big sales every so often (just one paint is close to $5) when what they should have done is made everything seem cheap.$1-2 a paint $5 for a mech (still needing 3 for the master skills) if they did this the prices will still work out almost the same but people wont realise how much they are spending. "wow only $2 for the paint i wanted" (a few days later) "i'm bored of being red i want to be black and pick now, its only $4". or "oooh a new mech, ill give one a go for $5"
that was very long winded and maybe confusing but i wanted to make the point of little and often instead of one sale in an age.

As a feature Id ask an actual Mechwarrior game for MWO. Peeps may say there is in the pipeline for 2018 but it will be an other minimal viable product from PGI that you play once and then shelve it.

I do understand the business move but is still not what players wanted.

It would sort of make sense to me if the Premium timer only ran while online. People are allready grinding at the game, so I don't think it will translate into a great dip in premium-time boosters sales. In fact,I only buy one day boosters,since there is no discount for buying longer periods and since managing the on-time is easier towards maximizing it when it's just 24 hors at a time. If the timer didn't count when I as offline, I'd pobaly buy longer periods even without discounts.


Also, I think it would be really great to add usage of droppods in quickplay, so you could bring multiple mechs while still choosing only one for the battle. In this way you could have a selection of mechs to choose from at a time the map and mission is known.


Third, I think it would be great to have something like MW4's tournament feature. With prices and rankings and all sorts of whatnots. These could translate into fame or redicule in the faction wars, depending.

how is the new weapons gonna fix the problem of disbalance ?
we havent even gotten the LRM (guided) vs SRM (unguided) thing working - how should MRM (unguided) work ? that would just be "better SRM".

if you believe more choice in weapons and more complicated weapons fix the general game disbalance and player base issues, your utterly mistaken.

and while your at the timberwolf 2 timeframe: dont forget the Orca and Matar and *bwahahahaha* just kidding. why not full null signature camouflage system lights ? (sarcasm warning)

First off, Thanks for upcoming new weapons PGI. Second, how is it currently unblanced? If you ask me, it's because the clans have been nerfed so much.

And yes, an Orca or Poseidon Super-heavy would be fun.

If I could change only a single thing about MWO, it would be to add an actual Mechwarrior game mode for faction play.
Giant maps, a proper planning phase, actual tactics, real scouting and long matches.

The last thing I wanted from faction play, were pug modes with dropship respawn.

1. Add an view previous match. With the ability to watch the game from any player's vision. If it could be a button on the score screen to save the match to my drive that would be ideal. This way it would not auto save and fill the drive up and MWO would not have to manage the data. This would help us to remember the names of players forgotten and to see tactics of other players in game and help newer players to discover how to play certain mechs. It should include chat (and voice coms if that would be possible). Of course it would only be available in quick play.

2. Change the graphic for advanced zoom. It is blurry and also obscures the surrounding area. it could simply zoom to that magnification instead of presenting a box and blur the further away from the focal point.

3. Add a chat frame to the Home,Mechlab, Skills, Store overlays. Adding this with the tabs of Common channels and the ability to create new channels would advance the connection to the community. As it is when a new player begins the game they have zero connection to the community and may leave from lack of info and connection to other players.

4. When selecting mechs a button to separate Inner Sphere from Clan would be handy (especially for newer players).

5. And lastly there is a rich history in Battletech and Mechwarrior that is glossed over to an extent. It would be great for newer players, choosing a faction and or house to have an idea of the history of those choices. This would further immerse the player into the game and give a sense of ownership to their roles in faction battles.

* There is plenty of info online and by the time faction play is a reality to players they may have looked it up already (this last one would just be cool to have here.

The ability for Unit Leaders to create unit flags based on the colors and decals they paid for and plant them on their territory in FW.

fairly new to MWO, but I have played most of the MW series and a few that predated it (kesmia's Battle tech version).
I think one of the biggest problems in the MW series and MWO is holding to close to Battle Tech armor setup.
MW gives pin point striking ability with all weapons hitting in the same location (lasers) while the battle tech system was far more random.
buffs to armor by weight class would help to some extent
