Definitely not meta but I think very noob friendly. Runs very cool, has fairly high dps and a nice alpha strike ( 70pt ) that doesn't invoke ghost heat.

2 CLPL for long and medium ranges
4 ER SL for short range
2 CSRM 6 for short range
Semi-front loaded armor but not too much!
Lower arm actuators for nice side-to-side arm movement

My suggestion. It may be a bit too similar to the standard builds but I've found it to do well in all situations I've been facing.

THIS WORLD NEEDS MASC VOTE FOR IT!

Impossible build. In the patch notes PGI clearly states that the executioner is the only MASC capable mech currently in game.

Helly, my Timberwolf is build around the Chassi of the Prime but using different Arms and the right torso of the C-variant.
Its build for 3 LPL for fast and strong alphas. You can shoot 2 or 3 alphas before getting overheated depending on the map.

Very similiar to the Stock-Prime except every laser is replaced with a pulse laser. LRMs are replaced with SRMs.
Nice brawler and good heat.

The TBR-S build I decided on is a brawler. It is at optimal range inside 200 meters.

I did have a hard time deciding to use mixed omnipods, even though it states any omnipod configuration is allowed. I can't explain why but that allowance seems odd to me. But in the end it seems most builds already posted did not have the same reservations I did and I made my build a mixed bag of omnipods!

For this build I wanted it to be extremely effective up close. Rate of fire and damage spread should mean a lot of crits. The single jump jet means it can change direction quickly and get that extra bit of twist when needed.
The build is called: Sand Blaster.

It is definitely not meta, but should be fairly easy to use assuming you aren't playing ranged or pick-a-boo with it! LOL

Doing well on this:

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...c0fc19fe9b42080

Manageable heat. Range ok. With CUAC5 cooldown 5 nearly no jam and a solid stream of grenades. Seldom ran out of ammo. Backed up by 4 CERML.

TbrD "Missleman" with a Prime Left Arm

Can do light hunting with the streaks and bap, medium range with the 3x erml and provide adequate fire support with a pair of lrm15s and featuring a shield right arm

this is also intended to run under both streak6 enhancement modules, and the s-SRMs chainfired on group 3, and s-SRMs alpha on group 4.

Similar to the stock build. 2 LPLs, 2 LRM 20s, a med pulse and 2 machine guns.

Soften up targets at long range with the LRMs, and occasional burst from the pulse lasers, then get in close to finish them off with the pulse lasers. medium pulse and machine guns are for structure hits or when the mech is too hot to fire the large pulses.

Whew, I'm grateful that only the best builds are getting any real attention. I'd hate to see yet another heap of scrap be added to our list of Champions. A majority of them are just plain terrible and it's a shame to force new players into really, really bad builds.

You can make ALL of the Champion configurations w/ the standard non-(C) variant. It's the exact same mech.
