I disagree if I'm sniping with dual gauss and a targeting computer MK II, and I hit you strait in the cockpit that you striped of armor or has low armor to begin with I think it's fair.

So you say.
It doesn't sit right to me that the FLD weapons are so much better at Critting than anything else.
That is a problem, when you instantly lose one or more weapons the second you lose armour, because that FLD Crit advantage. At 200M, it's less powerful, but at 1KM plus? Because they still Crit for full damage at that range.
Please quit trying to turn the game into this

1) The problem of dual-shotting (yes, dual-shotting; it takes dual-Gauss not single-Gauss to cockpit a Mech) is obviously an issue that upsets some pilots and prevents them from enjoying MWO to its fullest.
2) Apparently, "some pilots" is restricted to just Mcgral and Coolant. Everybody else seems A-OK with dual-Gauss cockpitting.
Carry on.

And you've failed to contribute anything, as always.
There was never anything here worth contributing to. Just someone crying "Wolf!" and it wasn't even the good crying-about-the-Clans kind either.
Besides, it was hilariously easy to debunk your "Gauss OP, plz nerfs!" cry. After that, everything else is just popcorn.

Join a Unit. Puggers never push, so one team will run the whole time while the other guns them down. It's different in group play though. You often get the chance for some close quarters combat.

The snipe game is the only successful way to pug in the Dire Wolf, sure you can load up 4x UAC 10's but it's hit or miss on its success. Very useful if the team moves with you.

Shoot, three of my five Zeuses are SRM and Pulse laser builds. My BLRs are similar. Atlases have SRMS and AC/20s. HBKs, well, they're close range. My Cents are all close range. Enforcers are Medium range. Heavies are all SRMs or Pulse. Lights are all pulse or SRMs.
You get the picture.
I own 110 Mechs, and only about three of them are dedicated snipers. I have about four or five LRM boats, outnumbering the snipers. Everything else is a mixed assortment of brawlers or fast-moving skirmishers.
Sniping? Phsaw! Gauss has been defanged and PPCs are still hot. The only time snipers are dangerous in MWO, is if your team lacks a backbone to push in close or if you draw Polar Highlands. Otherwise, a team of in-fighters will beat a team of snipers most days. There's enough cover to get in close, and most of the maps aren't large enough to give snipers room to escape.

I couldn't ask what his head armor was, unfortunately...
I should get Shadowplay or something.

Well, when you stand around and let people headshot you, rage-quitting may seem like a next best option.

Ahh, I bet that little mech was better than a warm chocolate cookie.
It's for delicious moments like these that I play.
