Same here. My vote for the Centurion is only because the Awesome, Quickdraw, Nova, and Catapult are still in the running. Should that change, so will my vote.

I get that the Awesome is big, but I like it for immersion. Silly I know, but I always imagine it as huge, so even if that makes it perform worse, I don't mind.
The Centurion is okay, a little wide. Part of it's large side profile is the shield arm, which should be big.
The Quickdraw is stupid big.
The Nova is big. I get the arms for all of the weapons, but the rest is a huge target from any angle. It is short, but it has low slung arms.
The Kit Fox is also stupid big, and the arms are at different levels, so if you miss one, you hit the other.

Not hard to tell at all. Clearly, the Quickdraw is heavier.

People like playing favorites?
I mean, even now it's a pretty popular mech, you can see one in every other match (might be because it's the only 50 ton Clan mech, but would only matter in CW, which is actually were you see most of the Black Hawks (in my experience)

While something like the Trebuchet, just aren't popular enough to get votes (The poster-child of oversized mediums didn't even make it to phase 2 of the voting).

The awesome needs it the most probably, and certainly has been the chassis wanting fixing for the longest time, followed by the catapult (although in my mind, fixing the catapult's VCR cancer is much more important!). This is coming from someone who has not piloted IS mechs in months.

Obviously this is to make the mechs smaller, since when does the Quickdraw, Awesome et al need to be made larger.

Keep in mind, part of the reason the Nova is so big is because it was magically gifted a torso so it can twist...twisting required arm clearance by means of broader shoulders to prevent clipping through out its full range of motion.

The Nova bulk is a concession for improved combat effectiveness. Imagine the gnashing of teeth a non-torso twisting Nova would have created. A fatter ass was the least of its worries.

because of anything? its wide as an assault, has a CT that you cna hit from any angle and is only 50t.
It is probably the emch with the worst geometry ingame.

yet I don't want it to be changed, simply because it's one of the best looking emchs we have so far and they really catched the original Nova's design very well (except from the Torso thingy which is a must have for MWO).

I cna not really imagine how they wanna change it without keeping it's look that epic.
Especially with the massive big target it is, a rescale would have to b massive to bring it in line.

The mechs I wanted to win are winning, but I wish they would throw the Centurion and Grasshopper. I wouldn't mind the Trebuchet in the mix either. It suffers from the same tall and thin syndrome the Grasshopper suffers from.

Also, imagine an awesome around the sign of a Zeus. I'm drooling already.
