Now now, we need to wait for the rest of the crew to show up. the Archer, Crusader, Marauder, Rifleman, Longbow, Phoenix Hawk, Stinger and Wasp. (and almost forgot the Valkyrie)

The first Battletech miniatures I ever bought were a couple of Ral Partha lead minis. An Archer and a Crusader. The Crusader looked great, but the Archer wasn't quite as impressive a sculpt. I'd love a New mini of a redesigned Archer.

Whilst this game tends to revolve a bit too much around heavies, I'd so love to see the Warhammer, Marauder and Archer in the game seeing as they're the spiritual ancestor to and near enough the IS equivalent of the Hellbringer, Timberwolf and Mad Dog.

I really do think the new Warhammer design is excellent and is a great reworking of the original design but with a modern twist and (hopefully) legally sound. I've been a fan of Shimmering Sword's Marauder artwork before but think it could do with slimming down a touch. Interested to see the Archer. Is this it?

The ones that we did get weren't under the same legal restrictions as the other unseens.

The problem with the Warhammer, Marauder et al were that FASA thought they had the license but it turns out they didnt. The other mechs they were allowed to use but FASA decided to turn their back on all of them just to be safe.

Yeah they redesigned them all. The only problem is they had to do a major redesign of the HG mechs but only did a touch up on the legally ok ones.
