This might sound like heresy, but I truly disliked the older look of the marauder. That clinky thing always felt like it would fall over if a feather landed on it the wrong way. Shimmering Sword made me look at it with fear, and respect.

I disagree, Shimmering Sword's Marauder looks just does not look quite right, the torsos are too wide and the cockpit is a bit off. As I have said before, his Warhammer is a masterpiece though.

That's why beauty is a subjective thing.

That was his first version, just like he did a first version of the 'hammer.

The cover of the Merc book shows his second versions of both the 'hammer and Marauder, and they look much, much better I think.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the work he did on the Marauder the first time around. Kept everything about the original that made it a fearsome sight on the battlefield, and gave it a more fitting appearance to keep with the feel of Battletech technology.

Can't wait to see what he's done with the second pass on the Marauder, and all the other classic mechs.

mmmkay, not reading through 20 pages of this nonsense to catch up.

Have we heard anything fresh from Russ on this? It's been "A Few Days"
