What it was was me going full ****** on someone who doesn't deserve it.
Well, that's what i was thinking at the time i edited my post.
But hey, you sit there and eat your popcorn.

Hey, I'm sorry, it was a joke. As you may know, I actually do my level best to be civil in my posts and I (perhaps in a moment of bad judgement) thought it was an apropos joke what with the twelve pages of thread. Also, I have you pegged as someone able to take a little poke in good spirit.

If I offended you, I apologize.

I can sound like a **** sometimes but it's just because I want to keep the discussion on point most of the times and don't use that much smileys. There are so many forum users who apparently like writing alot and goes on and on with walls of text about some unrelated stuff that I'm just not interested in replying to cus I don't find that stuff relevant... So sorry about that, no offence.

Besides I don't find the atmosphere that toxic. Maybe I skip too much stuff?

All good man. This is a pretty touchy subject for me. I've sat here for years frustrated by what PGI have done but rarely have i let it slip onto the forums and never with the disgusting vitriol that some people have put on display.
I had to learn the hard way to put my past behind me, to not let it rule me but to take the lessons learned and improve myself.
The one thing i've never learned to deal with is the fact that i tend to speak from the heart before running it thru my head and a lot of my posts reflect that.

So were both frustrated with PGI, but were like, a hop and a skip from being hostile to each other?

Come on man. Same team.

Half of all forum pissing contests are people misunderstanding that they are arguing the same thing from a different point of view.

True story.

Unless you have seen it already, Konami is probably nothing like Amazon.

uhuh..try working as a blue collar worker for them.

Zero hour contract, three defaults and your out, and you get a default for taking your meal relief late even if your finishing off an order, you never get any workers rights as its impossible to survive in the job long enough to get them, they boot you out and then they re employ you, which you have to take if you haven't found a job in the mean time, knowing that you can't survive without assistance, as if you refuse them, then any assistance here in the UK is held back for 1 year.

I stopped using Amazon because its the only way I can do anything in way of protest, when I found out how bad working conditions were, but most dispach, delivery companies are trying to be more like amazon every passing month.

I will come at you all guns blazing on this subject every time.
I choose to deal with my frustrations differently. I'll post when i see something wrong, like i did with consumables and 3rd person view but i refuse to sink to the depths that certain people do.

Never at any point will i state that i am better than anyone else on this subject. That is one line that i will never cross.

So you try to force people to your level?

Have fun with that on the internet.

Edit: I'll never tell someone to stop holding themselves accountable. I think its admirable in this day and age of internet anonymity. But as soon as someone starts acting like they are better than others because of it I have a problem.

You haven't crossed that line but its an easy line to trip over.

Im just sayin. You should keep your guns in your holsters. Youd find alot of people, bittervet or not, agree with you on a great many things, and may not always agree on the solution, but are usually all in unison on the problem.

No one is dropping f bombs and threatening anyone here. The depths you speak of, are just the rumblings of a discontented masses. The roar of these masses is just farts unless we all agree, PGI has a track record of making mistakes and being pretty all around generally lame. They have their moments. They have some great employees. But they have this track record. And it absolutely colors our opinion of their future promises and possible actions.

I dont think thats exactly the literary equivalent of Boomers or Hustler. Its pretty legit.

The vitriol is warranted alot of the time. Last year was literally all but an admission "ok Reddit was right, were sorry, heres some IGP blame you can chew on".

And it calmed right the heck down because of that move. Now its on the rise again.

Its like rebels in EU4...you can use some military points to supress them, but you can never truly get rid of them. If people are discontent, you have to either give them what they want, or keep them at bay ad infintium.

I mean when you put out the Pinto...your company's image is going to suffer.

Its just the way it is.

I have no problem with people that have logical and rational arguments.
When it ceases to be logical and rational and passes into hate well, that's the point where i'll come out swinging.

A friendly word of caution, then: What, and when, something "passes into hate" is a very subjective line. If you're sensitive to those things (as I read between the lines that you are), you might well "come out swinging" a bit prematurely in some situations.

We all have our hot-button issues; I know for sure I have my share. But because they are hot-button issues it's all the more important to take a breather before posting, or you'll find yourself pouncing on that edit button more often than you like (and, not incidentally, I've done the exact same thing you did on the last page numerous times; sometimes someone catches it before the edit and it turns into embarrassment, sometimes I get away with it and the post reads much like yours do now; "ah, fsck it" before anyone else sees it. Sometimes a mod catches it and I get a forum vacation ;)).

Either way; restraint. That's what's missing in most threads that blow up beyond all rhyme and reason.

Yeah, I'm sure it will, considering the fact that everyday we handle many reports.

Forget the forumz... think bigger... think of all the juicy reviews ;)

It will be hillarious if pgi over moderates their steam forum... the standard of what you can get away with there within the 'rules' is ridiculously low ;)

I´ve read the name "Vassago" a few times in this discussion, but can´t find anything from him.
Can anyone point me towards his Zaratustrian forecasts, by any chance?
